More than 30 Occupy Iowa protesters have been arrested in front of the Iowa Statehouse, reports CBS Affiliate KCCI.

The demonstrators were warned twice about trespassing before the arrests began around 11 p.m. Sunday night.

Iowa State Patrol officials had warned protesters that they didn't have a permit to camp on state-owned land.

Officials with the Iowa Department of Public Safety said those arrested include 30 adults and two juveniles who were taken into custody.

Of the 35 that showed up? This is SUCH a joke - at least across the Midwest.

What? A nice demonstration and the Madison libs can’t get more than 200 demonstrators? They aren’t even trying. : )

We have an Occupy Iowa City thing in the planning stages. If they wait too long, they will be occupying in the -20 winter weather. Whose bright idea was it to start demonstrating during this time of year?

Well I can see that you don’t get it all. :) It’s not the number of people that show up. It’s about how they feel about showing up. The left is all about feelings and if they feel good about the protests it’s all that matters.
