What about the other 38 states which have NO legislation at all? What is not prohibted is allowed. Those illegals in those states receive in state tuition exactly like all the legal resident students in those states.

The Texas Republicans wanted control of that. Therefore, one of the toughest pieces of legislation in the USA was passed which was veto proof 4 months after Perry assumed the office of Governor. There are a few states that are tougher but only a few. Legal resident students in Texas do NOT have to meet what illegals do to go to college. IF those kids can become college graduates then being on the government dole is very unlikely.

Texas or any other state wouldn't have this huge problem if the feds did what they were constitutional authorized to do. Feds will not so states have to deal with it on their own, the best way possible.
