...Correcting some minor typo's in those last three charts...

...I then noticed the Gallup data was several days older than the four polls after it, so I moved Gallup into the "older data", and voila, Romney and Cain were then TIED! ...

It gets even better if you are a Hermanator fan...

I noticed that RCP does not 'weigh' the poll's significance to the poll's size. So I weighted their poll results and then re-calculated the average, and then a 2nd voila... Herman Cain was IN THE LEAD for the latest four polls! ...

I find it interesting as well, that Gingrich is surging a bit too, and is now ahead of Ron Paul by a hair, in the latest 4 national polls.
But RCP would still have us believe Gingrich is behind Ron Paul by 0.5

Huh???...this can't be right. I thought Perry was our only hope. /s (even though he is only 5% above Ron Paul)

From 41% in August to 13% in October. Gary Hart would be proud.

Speaking of old data...

Amazon book sales rank for This is Herman Cain! hardcover is #17 overall, #1 in political, and #2 in Memoirs this morning. It was in the top 10 overall last week. Amazon updates rankings in real time.

On the other hand, the New York Times Bestseller List for October 16 non-fiction does not include This is Herman Cain! in its list. The book doesn't receive mention in "Also Selling."

The NYT Oct. 16 bestseller list reflects sales for the week ending October 1, 2011. Cain's book was released October 4.

The Old Grey Lady moves more slowly than molasses in January.
