In a two-way race, 43% would prefer Cain and 42% Romney. Cain leads Perry 54% to 29% in a two-man match and Romney leads Perry 54% to 30%. Cain is beating them all!

“Knowing the percentage of Blacks who voted for Obama the first time around what percent would vote for Cain in the primary?”

I doubt he would get much of black vote in general election. Steele run excellent campaign in MD and I think he got barely 10%.

In GOP primaries the number of blacks is low so it has zero effect (e.g. even if 50% of the all black 0.01% GOP primary voters in Iowa vote for him, what is that in total..extra 2 votes?)

“If you don’t support the sales tax, that’s all well and good, but don’t be dishonest. NOBODY is talking about a VAT.”

” Instead of continuing to lie, learn what is actually in 9-9-9. “

Huck has been told, many times. clearly, he’s not interested in actual facts, which is why he makes up stuff like the “VAT”.

legitimate factual vetting is one thing. making stuff up, is for liberals.

Mr. Cain shows that the GOP establishment NEEDS to LISTEN to its base.

Plus a sales tax forces the government leeches to pay some taxes.

Yep. That's the idea. Get EVERYONE into the tax game. If the freeloaders want more free stuff, they're going to have to help pay for it. Maybe they'll think twice before spending everyone elses....er......THEIR money.
Share the "Sacrifice".

You horned in on a post where I was taking someone to task for doing just that. You defended his behavior. Own it.

I would like to know what your vision is for funding the federal government. Right now we have a progressive tax code that punishes hard work and success and buys the votes of almost 50% by giving them representation with no taxation. Repealing the 16th amendment might go a long way towards correcting our government largess, however that will not be possible for several election cycles at the least.

I like Cain but I know his 9-9-9 plan will never get through Congress, though I appreciate him bringing the whole problem up for discussion and making people think about it for a change. I'm tired of Republicans paying lip service to fixing it and never offering any real solutions. Even Democrats say they are going to close loopholes and corporate welfare, but they never do. Cain has the testicular fortitude to stand up and say “our system is broken and here's how I'd fix it.”

So what would Huck propose to fund the government, spur the economy and stop the crony tax codes we have now? If you've proposed something or supported something I must have missed it.

Good for Cain. Hopefully he can keep this momentum over Romney.

The potential trouble down the road is the likelihood that, if Cain wins the nomination, the big-money donors will disappear back into the woodwork.

Cain will need more than just the conservative vote to win. To expand his support beyond his base, he’ll need a LOT of money.

What is your obsession with Perry? If you think that he is finished and it is all over for him why are you still obsessed with him 24/7? The same goes for the media, the left, many on the right, and his primaries opponents.

The undecideds are starting to brake for Romney, when pressed...

Seriously, someone besides Perry needs to start destroying Romney. Perry is the only one trying, but he can't get his foot out of his mouth to do an adequate job of it.

Knowing the percentage of Blacks who voted for Obama the first time around what percent would vote for Cain in the primary?

Have there been any Black celebs, politicians, businessmen, or military who have stood up in support of Cain?

Juan Williams, yesterday on Fox. Cain had said on the Neal Boortz radio show that he believed he might come close to 30% of the Black vote. Williams yesterday agreed and even upped it to a possible 40%. Even at 30% Obama would be DOA.

As Williams pointed out, there are a lot of conservative Blacks, especially in the South. They could become very influential with Cain as the GOP candidate. And don't take what people like Sharpton or other Black socialists say as viable. They're up against the wall with the race issue and they know it. Williams said that himself yesterday. He was very positive about Cain. It's conceivable a Cain candidacy could send the old Democrat mantra of Blacks voting in a solid block on its ear in 2012.
