WASHINGTON - US President Barack Obama said on Thursday "individuals in the Iranian government" were aware of the alleged plot to assassinate the Saudi ambassador to Washington, and they must be held accountable.
"We believe that even if at the highest levels there was not detailed operational knowledge, there has to be accountability," Obama told a joint news conference with the visiting South Korean president.

Just announce that our new policy concerning assassination plots is “tit for tat.” Keep them guessing about who is on the target list.
I was listening to my radio in the car when the resident came on the air telling what he was gonna do to big bad Iran.
It was pathetic—both what he said, and how he sounded.......if someone can find it and post it to FR, I think we’d all get a sad laugh from hearing it.
Accountability from who bammy? Surely not with your buddies in Iran.

Obama is already getting what looks to be a slight “Wag the Dog” bump based on this. Never mind that they were on to this nut ball last June and he never presented a credible threat. My guess is that this was probably nothing more than a run of the mill Muslim lunatic who was trying to get some support from Iran. This is nothing more than a distraction. The real news will be when all the lunatics stop trying to blow up something somewhere. Obama’s secret best friend, Bill Ayers is an unrepentant bomber he understands what makes them tick.

Obama sounded like he did when he said the police acted ‘stupidly’ and then said that he did have any details.
I find it strange that when there is a jihadist attack, immediately Obama and the MSM say that the perp was acting alone (before any details are learned), but in this case, Obama says it was an attack from Iran, again with no details.
Obama said that, even if the plot wasn’t known at the highest levels, the top people were accountable for it. Does this attitude extend to Holder in the Fast and Furious scandal? Noooooo, that’s different.
