I like Cain but if Haley Barbour is for him I may have to reconsider.
I agree. He’s sweep.
“Herman Cain Would Sweep The South”
Say, it’s that racist?
Is she comparing him to a janitor or something???
Haley Barbour is a solid Conservative and a successful governor. His steady leadership brought Mississippi through the aftermath of Katrina - in direct contrast with the socialist failures who forced Louisiana to wallow in filth and pity. How did the GOP well get so poisoned that you would think less of a candidate that Barbour endorsed?
I hope he can sweep the South and the GOP better wise up and drop that rino Romney.
OK, I’ll bite. What’s wrong with Haley Barbour? Do you always base who you support on who else does? Why should that matter?
Cain is a Southerner. He was born and raised in Georgia.
I agree with Always a Marine. In fact, when I read the headline my position on Cain took another turn toward’s the positive. Here in WI, Paul Ryan has issued a statement complimenting Cain’s 999 plan. If Ryan approves of the plan, then I support Cain even more.
How is that possible? Isn’t the South incredibly racist? Isn’t it filled with all those rednecks clinging to their religion and their guns? Maybe they just like Godfather’s pizza in the South..
Of course Herman Cain will sweep the south. He will probably carry every state W carried in 2000. The only place he will not do well is in the northeast and west coast where all those evil rich racist Democrats live. They just can’t stand to see a Black man do well.
You are not serious, right?
I agree that Barbour is a good, solid Conservative. His support is welcomed for Cain. I just donated to the Cain campaign! I like a Cain/Gingrich ticket.
And yes, Cain would sweep the South! He is gaining popularity here in Alabama.
The most interesting thing about the “racism” argument when it comes to the Tea Party is this. By definition, racism is the hatred of someone because of the “color of their skin”. Nothing more and nothing less. Therefore, how can a person who associates themselves with the Tea Party be a racist if he or she supports Herman Cain and the Tea Party folks are, according to the MSM, racist. BY DEFINITION it is impossible. I have yet to hear this question proposed to the Harry Belafonte’s or the Tavis Smiley’s. You can’t have both.
I respect HAley Barbour. He ran the Republican party and he has good common sense. Cain is so likable that he reallhy could win this. HE is very popular in Louisiana. I was disappointed when Jindal endorsed Perry. Jindal is very popular here, but he was too quick to get behind Perry. I trust Barbour more than most of the governors. He is a true conservative.

But Cain will need more than the South to beat Obozo. How will he do in the Northeast, West and mid-West?
I'd vote for him in a heartbeat.
