I’m sorry his 999 plan is 666 upside down. I’m not going to pay 9% tax on food and other things. There are still states who have no sales tax, they might get a bit mad if he’s the candidate.
<y neighbor is dirt poor on SS and he doesn’t want to pay 9% on his measly income either. This will hurt the poor and lower middle class hard.
Cain’s just another smooth talker like 0bma.
If you have a candidate to support, then support him/her on that thread.
But you are willing to pay up to 35+% on every cent you make, whether you spend it or not???
If you want to stop progressivism dead in it’s tracks, this first thing that needs to happen is to make sure EVERY single American shares our tax burden. The current system, that allows nearly 50% of the country to avoid paying federal income tax, creates a class of people that allow politicians like the current democrat party to pander to.
While Cain’s 9-9-9 proposal needs further clarification, he is the only candidate out there with the b@lls to think outside the box and set a track that would be the wooden stake in the heart of the current progressive movement.
I wasn't crazy about adding a new tax, but after looking at it, it's not so bad:
1. It encourages saving. The combination of incentives to invest and incentives to save will ignite the economy and it will boom.
2. Many Libertarians, who would prefer no taxes, say the Fair/Sales tax is the best if we are going to have taxes.
3. Along with the sales tax, we would, under Cain's plan, get:
The current tax code would be thrown out completely.
No other viable candidate (except Ron Paul, who might not be viable) is going to lower taxes and change the system that dramatically. .
Excuse me, little miss Thang, but you'll pay what the code says you'll pay.
Don't like it? Change it.
History is full of "little miss Thangs" in cuffs hollering about what they won't do.
Please tell me which candidates are not “smooth talkers?” There is nothing smoother than a teleprompter. The best we can do is thoroughly vet him and hope he keeps his promises and values. Look to his religious life to get a glimpse of his values.
I happen to be in this bracket. I think Cain’s got the best plan to get the economy growing again.
There are more things to life than just what is best for me, but what is best for the nation as a whole.
You already do, you just don't "see" it. Do you really think companies selling perishable items eat the tax on the materials and cost of shipping (fuel taxes)? Hell no, they pass that along into the products price. I dare say as of current, you are probably paying more than 9%.
Witty! Maybe another candidate will steal that bit of genius from you.
Oh, wait...
