I think there are punishments for such action. IIRC, in 2008 FL lost half its delegation in Republican Convention, and lost all in Democrat Convention. Hillary won the primaries there.

We’ll have to see ... this is a Romney year and I find it doubtful Nevada, a Romney state, will be penalized.
