As details come out on his 999 Plan, he will plummet. Its already happening, it just hasn’t hit the polls yet.

A 9% business tax sounds good until you realize that it eliminates all business deductions except for equipment replacement.

The 9% flat income tax will decimate the middle class and force many of them under. No retiree or working boomer wants to continue to pay taxes after retiring. The only good part of retiring is finally being exempt from payroll taxes. And why should exemption zone workers be given a break? We’re all suffering out here across America.

The 9% National Sales Tax is not going over well.

Cain’s 9-9-9 Tax Code Scrap Keeps Levies on Gasoline, Beer (and cigarettes)

I don’t drink beer, so I’ve no idea what an additional 9% will add to the cost. But I do not want to pay another $.39 per gallon for gas, we’re already paying 18.1% nor do I want to pay another $10.00 for a carton of cigarettes. Imagine having to pay another 9% on necessary medications.

Cain: I didn’t realize in 2005 that the housing bubble existed

Really? We all knew it. And you set yourself up as business savvy?

Cain: No need to audit the FED while he hosted the Neil Bortz show:

What about the criminal fraud that was exposed in the GAO audit? And you think we can and should trust the FED
internal audits?

I’m looking at Bachmann again and need to take another look at Santorum. I really wish Palin was in.

“As details come out on his 999 Plan, he will plummet...”

Prepare to be attacked for daring to speak with a clear view of reality.

How many folks here remember 1988?

Do you remember George H.W. Bush’s famous pledge?
“Read my lips — NO NEW TAXES!”

Do you remember, a couple of years later, how he reneged on that pledge?

Do you remember how he was “fired” by the American electorate for breaking his word?

And now, some 23 years later, “conservatives” (at least those who call themselves such) are falling all over Herman Cain. Falling all over someone who’s main campaign “idea” is to impose a new national tax of almost 10% on EVERYTHING we buy.

What ever happened to “no new taxes?”
Am I allowed to ask that here?

How many “conservatives” here think that lower, working class, and even middle class voters are going to be persuaded that a new tax (again, of almost 10% on everything they buy) is going to be GOOD for them?

Again, do you really think this is going to garner votes for our side?

Just askin’...

I have not checked the dates, but when Herman Cain was talking about the Fed, who was the chairman? Was it Greenspan? The Fed under Bernanke is doing all these secret Trillion dollar bailouts. During Greenspan’s time, there was nothing like current banking crisis.

When a out of context information is posted, one loses credibility.
