GREAT RED MEAT, politically incorrect to the core, to turn out the conservative base who will primarily be the voters in the GOP primaries. Great move. It will all be forgotten by November and Herman can watch such kinds of statements at that time, but for now, excellent timing and it raises his a) name ID; b) likeability by Conservative Republicans; c) donations, d) being an anathema to all of liberaldom whose heads are exploding and are magically SILENT because they have not figured out how to handle Herman Cain yet without it backfiring in their own faces.

On the off-chance that Cain gets the nomination, I can imagine that the Billion Dollar war chest of Obama will provide a few commercials with this bone-headed “joke” at the center.
