"...promising to accelerate the issuance of "report cards" rating banks on such things as foreclosures and charitable giving.

I luv it. Keep letting these commies run up your debt. These pussy PC police supported by the pussy PC leadership deserve everything that they are getting. Keep it up LA. Can’t wait to see it go up in smoke because most of it is needing a burnout for the clean out. The same goes for San Francisco.

Why do they say the “City “ has to pay when it is the tax payers who will pay for these types of moronic statements.

The BS is getting so deep that soon the only ones who will be able to breath will need to be at least 12 feet tall.

These types of statements are way beyond bizzar and can not be made up.

COOL! Left wing cannibalism!
The left is using it's own tactics on itself. Better them than us!

They have no one to blame but themselves. They'll get no pity from me. In fact, I find it rather entertaining.

Somebody is getting paid off. The Democrats don’t do anything unless they benefit from it politically or financially. Democrats - Thieves, Thugs, Thralls and Thickheads

LA can just be their own bank. Take over from the evil capitalists. OWS protestors can surely buy every one of their bonds to finance the city.

Why are they even putting any thought into these idiot’s ‘demands’

If the TEA party made a demand that they cut spending, would they do that?

***...after the City Council told anti-Wall Street protesters the city intends to cut ties with banks...***

The key word there is “intend”.

Time will tell. We’ll see if they really are fools or not.

Los Angeles faces tens of million of dollars in additional borrowing costs after the City Council told anti-Wall Street protesters the city intends to cut ties with banks involved in financial wrongdoing, City Administrative Officer Miguel Santana said.

What a city of fools. I am SO glad I live in Orange County.

What gets me is that teachers plan on joining the OLA and march to LAUSD to demand that ‘corporate’ charter schools be immediately closed and 1,500 teachers who were laid off at the start of the school year be immediately rehired, even though, you know, they don’t have any classes to teach.

Their explicit goal in an interview, is that the OLA campaign should also focus on returning ‘the public sector’ to equality.

Transparent.... Transparent...

Thus, we see the real purpose for the OWS movement. Bankruptcy. For those who are thrilled about this, keep in mind that we the tax payers will end up bailing out these morons.

I am certain L.A. would have gladly equally supported a Tea Party Protest - “some animals are more equal”.
I am so glad I was merely birthed in L.A. and my formative years were spent in Texas.

Richard Alarcon is a leftist, the brother of one of the leaders of the Communist Party USA, Evelina Alarcon.

He is also a nut.

Check out some information on him as www.keywiki.org, search “Richard Alarcon”, left side of the page.

Geez, I wonder how much that “Sanctuary” status for illegals costs all these cities? No one talks about that.

But if one is employed by LA and says something derogatory about illegal immigration or something the mayor doesn’t like, even if it has nothing to do with your job, they will fire you.
