Shocking election fraud allegations have stained a state's 2008 presidential primary - and it took a college student to uncover them.
"This fraud was obvious, far-reaching and appeared to be systemic," 22-year-old Ryan Nees told Fox News, referring to evidence he uncovered while researching electoral petitions from the 2008 Democratic Party primary in Indiana.
Nees investigation centered on the petitions that put then-senators Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton on the ballot. As many as 150 of the names and signatures, it is alleged, were faked. So many, in fact, that the numbers raise questions about whether Obamas campaign had enough legitimate signatures to qualify for a spot on the ballot.

It’s a shame that a college kid can find this but W and his AG couldn’t find it. Oh, wait! They didn’t look. “Can’t we just all get along?”
Yes. A complete and utter sham!
The GOP is terrified of being called racists if they investigate voter fraud. The GOP establishment not only doesn’t play to win, they sabotage conservative Republican candidates.
The incompetence on display from Sunday Show hosts like David Gregory, Chris Wallace and Bob Schieffer makes me fear for the republic. These are people at the top of their profession.
I wish somebody would ping me, if there is ever a case of Republican election fraud. Has there ever been a case? It seems to be very near a 100% democrat thing. No wonder they hate voter Id laws.

I'd like to see some real signatures on a real birth certificate.
Want to bet that just like the profound silence heard on Obama’s non-natural born status that Fox and the other conservative puppets will cover their ears and squeeze their eyes shut and fail to report this election fraud.
There are not words in existence that can convey my contempt for Fox and many others in our conservative media. They are **amazingly** NOT curious about the damnedest things regarding Obama.

These guys are either incredibly stupid or evil. As you pointed out, they are at the top of their profession so we know it isn't stupidity.
Common birth documents: FORGED!
Just wondering why a guy from Yale who interns at the WH decides to research this in Indiana. It just isn’t obvious to me.
from the article:
“Nees, a junior at Yale University, served as an intern in the Obama White House last year and supports the presidents re-election. But as an intern at the non-partisan political newsletter Howey Politics Indiana,...”
Do you smell a Clinton?
Voter photo ID is now required in WI, but our GAB (Government Accountibility Board) is doing its darnedest to avoid implementing the new law. Their latest scam is now trying to institute on line nominating petitions.
Formerly a petition had to be circulated in person by someone who verified that the person signing the nominating petition actually signed it. The GAB now wants to allow people to sign petitions on line with no verification as to who they realy are.
Did I mention that members of the “non-partisan” GAB are all appointees of the previous leftard goobernor?
Excuse me. It is not the job of the President and the Federal AG to look into the operation of a state -- especially when it hadn't been reported. Finding that fraud is the job of the County Clerk in the state where it happened and the AG of Indiana.
I’m waiting for the Yale v. Notre Dame angle.
Exactly.
However, when I was 24, my then-husband got involved with a group that was the sort of soft cult that was prevalent back in the late 60s. We attended a couple of pot lucks with these people and I got to meet the leader. Much about his back story was strange, to say the least, and the ambiance was disturbingly dictatorial.
I followed up on some of the guy’s bio *facts*, by letter and telephone. This involved having to go to the library, use ready reference (sort of a low tech Google; you queried the research librarian and she, in turn, scoured the reference books for an answer. It took minutes to days, depending)and then, writing the letter. One letter had to go to India.
Everyone responded. Turns out famous people do not like being cited by controlling nuts trying to establish credibility. I was able to show my husband irrefutable proof that the guy was a fraud and I even (stupidly) confronted him. He left town shortly thereafter.
Thirty years later, I discovered the Internet and search engines. It was the best technology, ever, IMO.
So, it could be done, back in the day, but it took a developed BS detector, some familiarity with the research world and key words (the basis of the Library of Congress system), patience and the willingness to pay for long distance calls, which were pricey.
Perhaps, but it is also possible that the young man saw and heard enough while at the WH to become suspicious. If he was working for the Clintons, why did they not use this information? Or perhaps he did pass it on and encountered the threats and intimidation that have been reported by other Clinton campaign workers.
IIRC correctly, the various documented/indicted fraud in WI took place in cities like Stevens Point where there were colleges. The word *isolated* is always used by those who should have been responsible. It is the voter fraud equivalent of *unexpectedly*. I have never heard of a serious punishment for anyone doing this.
There was obvious voter fraud in 2000 and Bush did nothing but turned a blind eye with his “let’s just move forward” attitude and his inept AG. See post 23
Thanks for the ping.
