Yeah Katla is always on the radar....no deformation though of any significance though....so the watch goes on.

Both Iceland and the Azores are on the Mid-Atlantic fault..also, the maximum strength of an earthquake is related to the distance that the waves can travel...The MidAtlantic fault lets it run for thousands of miles...I think the theoretical maximum strength is a 10.5....
