I am sorry, and really thought you did not know that Wikipedia is an unreliable place to get facts since anyone can change things. I did not know that about the website myself, when I first used it and someone told me about it.

I will try the links you suggested as I find it hard to believe those things you mentioned whould have been said by Pamela. I will follow the links.

Thank you for providing the links. I will look at them. I did find a couple of the Wikipedia footnote links went to Geller's site but others went to CNN, Media Matters and Huff Post.

I did see the picture of Kegan in the suit, but have to admit after reading some of her actual writings Kegan really does sound like a real Socialist. Some other comments I saw that were stated to be from Geller, I found were actually from posters to her blog.

On behalf of the leadership of the Sugar Land Democrat Club and the Fort Bend County Democratic Party and all citizens of Sugar Land Fort Bend County who respect and believe in diversity I wish to thank the Hyatt Place Hotel of Sugar Land for canceling this event. We will not hold our protest outside the Hyatt Place Hotel. Please stay tuned for further announcements later today.

The manager of the Hyatt did not know of Ms. Geller’s work and apologized deeply.

The kickin’ Sugarland tea party organizers would not take no for an answer. They have found a new venue.

I have officially sold my shares in Hyatt as of 6 minutes ago, switched my frequent traveler hotel stays to a competitor, and all this to avoid the Hyatt from this day forward. I may not agree with things people say but by God I fought for this country long and hard enough for them to have that right here in America to say it. That you would cancel an event due to pressure from an UN-American Islamist group like CAIR... You've lost my business. I am sending this on to every employee I know, every business owner here in Texas I deal with, and officially I will boycott the Hyatt for life for you lack of business sense. Cowards the entire Hyatt group is for allowing this to happen. Shame on you for your cow towing to a group of terrorists. Even they have a right to speak in America no matter how sick they are. So hopefully they travel enough to keep the Hyatt in business because from this day forth you no longer have me as a customer and I am going to make darn sure everyone I know understands the corporate cowardice in our nation.

I have checked Pamela Geller's website often and have read many of her writings. I realize some folks think her style too rough at times, but I happen to agree with points she makes. In fact I find I am not in disagreement with anything I have read thus far.

Now as far as posting pictures that are not flattering to people, I just pass over that as it is done all the time on all blogs from folks on all sides of an issue. We sure see lots of photo-shopped pictures here on FR. Have to admit most of them do give me a chuckle.

This video clip of Pamela is worth listening to as she clearly defends the right to free speech to everyone. Pamela makes the point that the Hyatt in New York allowed the President of Iran to stay there, entertain there, while a huge demonstration took place outside. Certainly the President of Iran is never canceled at the New York Hyatt due to “business disruptions”. Yet the Huston Hyatt canceled on the Houston Tea Party just 24 hours before the event was to take place, citing possible “business disruptions” from a handful of protesters?

Other points made in the clip touch on how often this happens at universities is “conservative speakers” are scheduled to speak. All of it true.
