That doesn't surprise me at all. If you can't stand up to Iran, how are you going to stand up to a 13 year old girl?

Does it bother anyone else that Michelle is utterly incoherent? What is she even trying to say? Someone paid this mental midget (sorry, little person) a 300k salary? Why?

***”That’s what I was wondering. Does she? (I guess it’s obvious I didn’t go to the link, huh?)

“But he lets them watch it anyway?”

The article is vague, yet it appears that Michelle allows the daughters to watch the show anyway, despite their father’s “disapproval”. She apparently uses it as a teachable moment to point out dumb actions.

This premise is absurd yet sadly many parents subscribe to this poor logic. Parental use of so called teachable moments from bad examples on TV do not necessarily prevent bad behavior at all.

The take away that will resonate with teens (and younger) is the attention that the behavior is receiving, i.e. teen pregnancy, dressing like hos, etc. They will wish to emulate these behaviors despite a parent pointing out the pitfalls. Trust me, I have a 13 year old, and this is a developmental age that is naturally trying to conform.

My 13 is NOT allowed to watch the Kardashians and it is also interesting how this age group craves watching them in particular. Just because they are rich causes this age group to feel that they are to be looked up to - I point out that trashy values are low class, no matter how much money there is being thrown about.

These types (Kardashians, et. al.) will become role models, or try to, if you let them in your house. The best antidote is not to expose the children/teens to these programs at all.

It seems the daughters are in charge in that household.
