You are mistaken, Cain was commenting on forced parenting not abortion.

Cain thinks that it should be the woman’s choice to raise the child or put it up for adoption

New Jersey Realist, I agree.

I think fixing the economy is the #1 prority, not abortion or gun control. So I’m okay voting for Cain.

You cannot produce one piece of evidence that Iowa Republican leadership is in the tank for Romney. I see none of that and this piece in the Iowa Republican has nothing to do with Romney.

You are right about your first paragraph, though.

I don’t even agree that 9-9-9 is a great policy, but Cain is still my guy. He just has that effect on people.

obama had that effect on people also, don't forget.

Try to stop it now. Do not join in the mindless support of Cain because he is a likeable guy.

It will save you heartbreak later as the truth about him seeps out more every day.

LMAO! No, that isn't close to what he said. There was nothing in that about adoption. Nice try though.

>> “Can you believe that 28% of Republican caucus goers are going to vote for Cain?” <<

.
By the time the caucus rolls in, I can believe that 60% will vote Cain.

Romney, Perry, and Grinchrich make me nauseous!

Cain is in front with 28% followed by former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney at 21%. Congressman Ron Paul is a distant third at 10% followed by former House Speaker Newt Gingrich at 9%, Congresswoman Michelle Bachmann at 8%, and Texas Governor Rick Perry at 7%. The sixth place finish for Perry is a sharp decline from early September when Perry was the frontrunner both nationally and in Iowa.

SIXTH in Iowa? And probably no better than FOURTH in New Hampshire. If these polls hold up, I do not believe that Perry will remain in the race long enough to get to the Iowa caucus.

> MAN! if we could get DeMint on that ticket with CAIN....

A 10 MT political device.
:)

But if it was Cain/West, it would be a 20MT device.

Not much difference in the end, though, since the devastation of the commie-collectivist-statist-fascist landscape would be near complete either way.

............................................................Contrast that w/ the whiny punk in the WH now ...there is just NO comparison. NONE!!!

I agree Cain is a man of great character. Alone his character does not mean he would make a great President

No, I read the article. Nothing was said about adoption.

He was just doin’ the Cain thing ... when confronted about a policy, he backtracks, denies and equivocates.

I’m tellin’ you people, tho I know it will fall on deaf ears, that you should fear this good old, sweet loveable man. He’s not ready to be president.

He finally ended up saying that decisions on abortion should be left to the FAMILIES.

And that is exactly what he said, you can deny or dilute it all you want to.

And then, when confronted by his diverse base, he modified his 999 plan, in ONE day to say he would change it for the ‘less fortunate.’

Not to even mention his support for Romney or his graceless and ill informed attack on Perry about the bogus Rock story.

Don’t even try to defend him on that, you can’t.

And try to control your glee over poll numbers because they will change rapidly the more he talks.

P.S. Stop kidding yourselves that Perry will drop out.

He has the money and the organization and he has just begun to fight.

Actually, he’s been fighting for years for Texas with great success and will now fight for the country.

It’s been a huge public relations battle to take a candidate who was at the top of the heap and take his ratings down so much.

Don’t tell me it was the debates, that was far from the whole story.

Why did Romney and the MSM unleash this all out attack on Perry? Is he the one they fear?

And isn't that the point many people, even on FR are missing? He is a good conservative candidate all around even if some of the details need some fixing and adjusting.

Cain has a lot of good stories, many of them heartwarming.

All I’m saying is that the man is vague on policy, ignorant on foreign policy and way to ready to change his mind when confronted.

Can’t we make him Secretary of Great Stories, or loveable people not ready for prime time.
