And when Sadr and his Iranian backed mob start a civil war, Bambi can take credit for that as well.

I’m actually pretty pleased. We should leave Afghanistan also. Why? Because our soldiers have their hands tied and no American leader apparently has the guts to actually win.

Iran will have new oil fields soon enough. Obama = imbecile

I am surprised it took Obama so long to pull the troops out. The democrat’s goal is for Iraq to implode so they can say Bush’s plan didn’t work etc. They are invested in Iraq not succeeding.
On the other hand if it DOES succeed somehow then Obama will claim credit for it and say it was a mess when Bush left it and Obama fixed it.
Win/win for Obama.

1. When he came into office — “Iraq war bad, Afghan war good”
2. Now - The “good war” of Afghanistan has become the bad one, and the ex-”bad war” of Iraq made good will be baddified anew, and permanently so.

Obama deserves credit for creating a rare state of unity among Iraq’s Shiites, Sunnis, and Kurds. For the first time since the 2003 invasion, all three factions are now in agreement on the US leaving Iraq. Yet another foreign policy success [sic] of the Obama Administration.

Lets see, thousands of Americans dead, tens of thousands wounded, America spent a trillion dollars of it's treasure on these lazy bathrobe wearing fanatical religious freaks, a few years later, America is in debt multiple trillions, tens of millions lost their homes, businesses, investments, retirements, careers, our own borders have become a war zone and national security nightmare...
Hell, we didn't even get cheap gas out of Iraq.
We won nothing but death and debt...

Whatever the results of total withdrawal from Iraq, good, bad, or “inconclusive”, they won’t be apparent for quite a while. But of course they’ll be played up as positive for no other reason than Obama needs a steady trickle of foreign policy stuff to play up and stack into an archive
that’ll be pointed to repeatedly as proof of how miraculous his effect on the world has been. It’s all designed to soften us up for his entirely unacceptable domestic policies, which would not be remotely sellable any other way. They’re counting on a lot.
