Florida banker's wife left family to join Wall Street protesters
NEW YORK POST ^ | October 21, 2011 | KEVIN FASICK and BOB FREDERICKS

A married mother of four from Florida ditched her family to become part of the raggedy mob in Zuccotti Park -- keeping the park clean by day and keeping herself warm at night with the help of a young waiter from Brooklyn.

“I’m not planning on going home,” an unapologetic Stacey Hessler, 38, told The Post yesterday.

“I have no idea what the future holds, but I’m here indefinitely. Forever,” said Hessler, whose home in DeLand sits 911 miles from the tarp she’s been sleeping under.

Hessler -- who ironically is married to a banker -- arrived 12 days ago and planned to stay for a week, but changed her plans after cozying up to some like-minded radicals, including Rami Shamir, 30, a waiter at a French bistro in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn.

...

The unemployed Long Island native compared her decision to abandon her family to Americans serving in the armed forces.

the kids are “with friends”

THEN she left.

she probably plans on retrieving them.

The father can show up and take them home and she can do anything. He would be smart to stay out of the media, do the legal work and do what he has to do.

Did this *itch lost her mind??? She thinks OWS is the same as the military??

Lady if you wanted -- you could've gone to the Occupy Orlando or the occupy Tampa event. (There was a sign - at the Tampa rally - reading: 'Tofu is Murder'). I'm going to an 'Occupy Theme Parks' event this weekend. (taking the kids to Sea World and Universal).

Did she say that the kids are with friends, or that they are being taken care of by friends? I thought it was the latter, which doesn’t necessarily mean that the kids are staying at the home(s) of friends.

It’d be worth hauling her possessions up to NYC just to see the look on her face as he redistributes them to her comrades.

You would be amazed how well she could come out of this in Florida. First of all, she will get some kind of joint custody. Next up will come the distribution of the assets, no matter what she did, divorce here is no fault. The hubby may even end up having to pay a support stipend.

He needs to pray she never returns and in fact, just disappears.

I’m jealous of you. Twice married and never really fit
with either one. Some of us should just stay single and
save someone the trouble...

I’m sure she doesn’t want any “dirty money” when it comes time to talk about alimony, right?

Ah . . she reminds me of the woman who left her husband and kids, went off on a lark, took up with another man, then fell while ice skating and broke BOTH wrists.

She was on the phone crying to good old dependable hubby toot sweet. The boyfriend had disappeared.

He came and got her, carried her home and took care of her. - A bit gullible, but I guess he loved her.

Or, in Freeper tradition and as a favor to us non-Facebook folks, you could provide a summary or a link...

***I have a plea for my friends. I need your help and support. I want to stay occupying wall st. I feel my presence is very important in the support of non-violent communication and sanitation(keeping the park clean) I am willing to work tirelessly on these efforts. I need help with getting my kids to activities and stepping up with the things I help lead, such as one small village, jr roller derby, bee-attitudes, 4H, for his glory co-op. Please respond if you are willing to help my kids so I can stay here and help this movement. I have a train ticket for tomorrow that I want to change but I need to know I have support from my community back home for my family in order to change the ticket. *****

Narcissist/exhibitionist - counted 13 I’s and 6 MYs in that plea.

As an OWSer she will get media attention that she was obtaining thru her children. They are now fungible
