You do what you do for God, King and Country.
Well, there may have been subsidiary reasons.
Hey, he did it for God and Country... A lot of guys would do it simply to boost their egos.
Oh, WOW!
I bet nobody ever thought of doing that!

So, for a year and a half; this young woman got to be intimate with the ‘Bad-boy’ of her dreams, and when the ‘Bad-boy’ dumps here and disappears, she feels “used”?
Seems like a bit of bad-judgement on her part. She wanted to use a ‘Bad-boy’ for the fun and excitement, he got to enjoy some benefits - and once the job was complete, he left. He used her, she used him.
Is he a Muslim? This behavior is approved by Islamic law to “ruin” the infidel. Ladies, be warned.
Sometimes you gotta take one for the team.
Well it certainly wasn’t honorable, but many a man has done the same thing for even less substantial reasons.
Innocent of what?
So her number of sex partners is now 86 instead of 85.
Perhaps if the anonymous woman had kept her knees together she would be less emotionally and spiritually damaged.
A man would lie to get a woman into bed! I am shocked, shocked, I tell you. Why, there will be gambling in Casa Blanca next!
We need his picture to determine his guilt.
“Today the woman, who was not an activist herself, told the Guardian that she is still damaged by the experience.
She was convinced that the romantic, polite and charismatic man was her ideal man - and had a long-term future with him.”
Not to say that the spymaster, whatever the heck that is, was justified. Probably there was what we call a “conflict of interest” between his need to boost his cover story and his genitals. But women can be tricked likewise by anybody, not just masters of deception. Used to be there was a defense, in that you didn’t trust in a long-term future with relative strangers until they declared their intentions by investing money in you in the form of a diamond.
I realize olden-days people were ingorant, superstitious, bigoted, racist, sexist, etc., but at least they knew how to mitigate this sort of damage.
"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America's debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the US Government cannot pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government's reckless fiscal policies. Increasing America's debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that, the buck stops here. Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better."
~ Senator Barack H. Obama, March 2006

You can witness that kind of ‘trickery’ any Saturday night at closing time in any bar in the USA.
Quick, you have to hide this briefcase for me...
