Aware of stimilar situations, I bet you are correct they have been having a tough time with this kid. From what I gather, it is not uncommon these days...run away, shack up with some prevert, get raped, and don’t report it. Generally the shack up is some scum bag. Future ruined, even if they get out of that drifter lifestyle. Sad. Sad also for the future spouse who will have to deal with that mental baggage.
