Viruses mutate on a regular basis! Nobody can possibly keep up with the ever changing strains of them.

Yeah, that's why you see so many Americans with mumps, polio and smallpox.

Oh brother. I was really done arguing this point, but since you insist.

HPV and the flu are known to mutate at a more frequent rate and there are more strains of them. Apparently mumps, measles and small pox are easier to nail down. Some bugs are smarter than others.

For your information, all 3 of my daughter’s vaccinations are up to date. I don’t plan on allowing them to get the Gardisil vaccine. I like to give my kids the benefit of the doubt rather than writing them off as being loose as ashes and dating scummy boyfriends. I like how the medical profession portrays HPV. You have sex once, gasp you will get HPV. Yes, that’s possible, but unlikely. And like I have already said, Gardisil does not prevent all of the HPV strains out there. Not all of the strains of HPV even cause cancer.

So here is the equation(again): HPV can cause cancer SOMETIMES, and the HPV vaccine can protect against it SOMETIMES. This is a proven fact. So, why do you feel that this vaccine should be forced on young girls and now boys? And please, spare me the rotting penis stories. Is Merck going to start using that as it’s tag line for Gardisil? “Get the vaccine, or your penis will get cancer and fall off!”. Or they can tell young girls “Get the vaccine,or your cervix will rot!”.

Bottom line, this vaccine will not get you the same results as the other vaccines that you mentioned. This vaccine has a lot more side effects. So what is the point. Really I’m done with this! You have your view point, I have mine. Period!
