The family of deceased Libyan dictator Moammar Kadafi reportedly plans to file a war-crimes complaint against NATO for the role they believe the international military alliance played in the former leader’s death, a lawyer for the family told Agence France-Presse news service.
Marcel Ceccaldi, a French lawyer who previously worked for Kadafi's regime and now represents his family, told AFP on Wednesday that the complaint would be filed with the International Criminal Court in the Hague because the family believes a NATO strike on Kadafi’s convoy led directly to his death.

Kadafi’s family needs to lighten up. It’s campaign fundraiser season in the U.S.A and Barry needed a little bump in the polls. Dusting Moammar was about the best idea he could come up with on short notice. Barry didn’t mean nothing personal by it, it’s just politics.

They just don’t get it. Transnational utopians just make it up as they go along. Whatever whim these elitists have at the moment is law. Express, bloody conquerors who admitted they were there for the jack were much more honest and refreshing than moral poseurs such as the ICC.

I understand that some of the component nations of NATO have agreed to the jurisdiction of the ICC, but has NATO as an alliance agreed to be subject to rulings of the ICC?
What exactly is the enforcement mechanism if the Khadaffi’s are successful in their litigation? If NATO doesn’t pay, do they get to show up at NATO headquarters in Brussels and auction off the furniture and office equipment?

Kadafi was no doubt a kook..who had been cooperating with the US for the last 6 or so years.
Had they captured him and tried him like Hussein...no problem in my mind.
But this administration is supporting a bunch of lunatics that looked exactly like what they are. The televised “event” was disgusting.

Well if that dirtbag DemonRat ex congressman can sue for losing his seat / livilyhood, then I guess the Kadaffy family can do likewise.
I believe that there is a video of a rebel on the internet admitting that he shot Kadafi in the head.
I don’t think it gets any more direct than that.

Are we to believe a French lawyer expects justice at the International Court of Criminals. Ha. He just wants to collect fees for an impossible task.

From what I understand Muslims don’t use toilet paper. They use their left hand for that chore, and eat with their right hand for obvious reasons.
