These kids make so much money, vets for years, they have no worries about that so it boils down to their teamates and how they interact on all of those road trips, hotels, planes and how confident that their owners will spend to keep ‘em in contention. Albert is a 2 time WSC now but how can any of us feel what these guys do as far as the ego/money thing goes? It has been a few years since I was 30 or so like Albert but I do remember the ‘jazz’ as we called it then, wanting to be the top dog, (salary wise), so who knows. If it was me I’d give up a few million a year to be with a great org. and fellow players who respected me Like it seems Albert has in St. Loo.

Well, he has to make that call.

Like I said earlier, baseball is a metaphor for life.
And i believe it is truer with baseball than any other major sport.
