I will say this, Herman Cain got heckled and boo-ed it seems by contingent of rather loud, rude Ron Paul supporters right when he was trying to give his Alabama speech. I just saw this separate clip of Cain handling these Paulbots last night. It was brilliant. He humiliated them publicly and the crowd burst forth with resounding applause and laughter. They were vanquished, embarrassed, and they shut up right away. Folks, it was the closest I have yet seen in Campaign 2012 to a dynamic Ronald Reagan 1980 New Hampshire "This is MY microphone, I paid for it" moment.
The guy knows how to point a finger, lower a voice and command respect when he is being dissed like that. Gotta see TV!!

I was there, in Huntsville, at the dinner last night. I didn’t see any Paulbots or hear heckling.
I’m going to give a write-up of my experiences this PM. Right now, I’m still in H’ville and it’s 4 hours to the house and then I’ll do my after-action report. I’m planning to start traveling w/in 30 minutes.

The clip to which you linked has no heckling at all.
I was sitting to Mr. Cain’s left and frankly, the Paulbots didn’t have much of a voice at all. It was a sold-out crowd of 500 people.
But what can you expect from T-town?

Not in Huntsville (no heckling--i.e. the video on this thread above). I will see if I can find that separate Paulbot Tuscaloosa heckling and subsequent Cain smackdown tape.
I really like what he says about illegal immigration toward the end of that clip. Seal the borders, no amnesty, use the laws we have now for a path to citizenship, empower the states to enforce the law if the federal government won’t.
My only reply against this is, as president, he should use his office to require the federal government to enforce the laws.

I find it offensive that Republicans would show up at am event and heckle one of our own. I proudly support Herman Cain both here and financially; I would never consider showing up at an event and heckling Ron Paul, Rick Perry, Michele Bachmann, Newt Gingrich, or any of the others even Mitt Romney.
