The Media did the same thing to Sarah Palin and it worked. She resigned as Governor of Alaska as a result of the enormous pressure the media put on her.
It's plausible that the media could force Cain out with this kind of stuff.
Wouldn't be the first time.

It was more than just media pressure on Palin. There was an all-out conspiracy to bankrupt her and her family.
The GOP didn’t lift a finger to help her, and neither do I expect them to lift a finger to help Cain.
