My preferred candidate is not in the current crop of candidates.

However, I will vote for whomever is the actual Republican candidate for POTUS.

It would great to see Cain as the candidate if only just to poke a stick in the eye of the rinos. I have nothing against Cain and would be pleased if he beats back this smear successfully, but the sheeple will vote as they are told by the media as they will surely be bombarded with this story up to and including election day.

Yeah, what a sleazy-looking guy.

That show is getting to be a real freak-fest. This morning they accused Perry of being drunk during a speech. Now, no one has been harder on Perry than me, but I thought that was an outrageous allegation.

I thought Bill Clinton made these kinds of things a non-issue.

TWO FREE GROPES! (Used to be one but this is a new millennium.)

RE :”I don't immediately see how this hurts Cain,
.....
it cant, *IF* Mr Cain plays the cards to his advantage...flip this bag of flaming sh!t back at em, and he scores big ...

Not kidding. they declared him ‘guilty’ for not answering the question :”Have you EVER been accused...?”

Meanwhile FNC is reporting on Romney's lasted set of flop-flops (Climate Change being the big one) and The Morning Joe and Politico dont even consider that newsworthy. Brilliant Joe with politico are selling a liberal 'fake as a two dollar bill' flip-flopping Romney as a Republican savior.

Unfortunately most of the RINOs in my state are going for Romney with the same logic as they did with McCain, they told me flip-flopping phony McCain couldnt lose to Obama in 2008 too. Yet ex-governor RINO BoB Erlich got crushed in two elections here for being a phony, even after a massive tax increase by his opponent. RINOs never learn.

I don’t think Perry was drunk either. I watched that and it seemed to be more like that is just his way of speaking.

I am glad I am not running. I would have to be drunk to just put up with all the BS thrown at me.

I wish that someone on our side would start blurting out about Obama and Larry Sinclair and the mystery deaths of the “organ players” *heh* at Obama’s church in Chicago.

And what about Reggie Love?

The quote you cite by Cain was made last May. Geez! Is he supposed to be a time traveler too?

Actually that was the gist of his campaigns response yesterday to the allegations. I think Cain needs to hit harder in his reply and deny the claims. Force Politico to produce more than their vague accusations.

I agree that this is a bogus hit.

AND, I hereby swear that I shall not go on threads crawling with Cain supporters doing mindless attacks on my candidate, Rick Perry, and call Cain a sex offender.

I’ll leave that sort of thing to them (Perry haters)

Relax, folks. This won’t do much damange to the Cain’s campaign. He’ll do just fine. The people have already made up their mind about voting for Cain.

Remember the Jeremiah Wright’s “God **** America” scandal back in 2008. It didn’t do much damange to 0bama. In the end, he still beat Hillary for the nomination.

So this “sexual harassment” allegations back in the 1990’s just won’t fly. Cain will win the GOP nomination.

Well, it’s getting so bad for Republicans and Conservatives, that I doubt anyone who is halfway normal will want to run for office.

If you want some info on Larry Sinclair and Obama’s alleged gay behavior, I’d recommend Hill Buzz. It’s run by Kevin DuJan out of Chicago and he has archives on this stuff. It’s a pretty enjoyable site.

I am supporting Cain regardless, but his spokeman should not have gone on Geraldo last night. The spokeman SUCKED!!! he just said the same thing over and over blah blah blah very Democrat like. Pretty disappointing. Hope he has better way to address it then that.

Not me! If Romney’s the nominee, I will not hold my nose and ever vote for a RINO again...I don’t care if it’s all about beating Obama. NEVER! EVER! ... will Mitt Romney - NEVER - EVER - get-my-vote! I’d rather write in my dog’s name and vote for the other races on the ballot; but under no circumstance whatsoever, will I vote Romney.

LOL

"AND, I hereby swear that I shall not go on threads crawling with Cain supporters.."

In any event, I believe that the "brain" is behind this smear. Shsssh. Just between you and me. Don't let the Cain supporters know that I like Cain and much of what he says, but my preferred candidate decided not to run.

For crying out loud. The story hit yesterday (Sunday) evening. The campaign came out initially not offering to make any comment on it. Smart in the light that they had no information on what, if anything Politico had. Then later in the night came out with a PR that they denied the claims and that the story was factually false.

With that said, now they obviously needed to speak with counsel to map their counter strategy because they knew something of this sort was coming but because of the confidentiality nature of the agreements, there was also a liability issue to address if for any reason any sealed details were made public by his campaign. He is even more aware now, than weeks ago, that his first response personally has to be on target and not wishy washy, or construed to be so, and put the accusers on total defense immediately from whatever his comments will be.

Do you have a problem with that?

I agree with you.

Cain supporters have totally made up their minds.

They certainly shouldn’t be daunted by an obvious hit piece like this women story.

I just wish they would worry a little bit about Cain’s real deficiencies.

I went the worship route with Sarah Palin but she had been so thoroughly vetted for years, there was no chance of anything ‘surprising’ coming up about her. Then all of a sudden, she’s not running.

Fortunately, Rick Perry had declared before that and my husband, who doesn’t like anybody, likes Perry a lot. He kept talking Perry but my heart was with Sarah.

So I had a fall back position when Sarah opted out. Cain seems like a nice guy, but I think that a lot of Palin supporters turned to him with too much worship and adulation.

He has his faults and they are serious. Still I hope he gets the nomination if Perry doesn’t. He would be so much better than Obama.

But I still think it’s a mistake to support Cain by trashing all other candidates ... what if ????

Nothing more to say sadly. But we have been through this before with McShame. That turned out well.....

Oh, the myriad of things that Obama could be accused of. Great stories also.

They must have serious devotion to liberals and Obama to resist using any of that stuff.

Of course there is no proof but the Dems hold anyone but themselves to a much higher standard:

It is the “seriousness of the allegation” that makes this a story not the facts.

McCain would have been a mediocre president.

But I’d rather have had him. He would not have gotten the country into the kind of disastrous situation it’s in now.

This Obama administration is gonna be hard to recover from.

Too much harm has been done.

The people who say they’d rather have someone like Obama totally trashing the country than another Rino are not thinking clearly.

I don’t want a Rino either but we have to get Obama out.

This is our country we’re fighting for.
