Sheriff Joe's posse delivers promised Obama surprise
WND ^ | OCTOBER 31, 2011 | WND

Arizona's maverick Sheriff Joe Arpaio promised surprises in his jurisdiction's investigation of Barack Obama's eligibility for the presidential ballot and his Cold Case Posse is delivering – raising questions that touch on the authenticity of the long-form birth certificate issued last April and the possibility Obama is using a fraudulent Social Security Number.

Sources close to the investigation say the posse has decided it needs to see original birth records before it can conclude whether Obama should be eligible for the presidential ballot in 2012, not an electronic file or scanned copies.

The sources say the panel needs to examine the microfilm documenting Obama's birth, as well as the ink-and-paper original 1961 birth records the Hawaii Department of Health is holding in its vault.

The PDF file and various scanned copies of the birth certificate that the White House released April 27 are simply not good enough, the posse has determined.

Earlier this month, WND senior staff reporter Jerome R. Corsi spent 18 hours over a two-day period in Arizona briefing the Cold Case Posse on a wide range of evidence regarding Obama's eligibility.

"The posse wants to see the entire microfilm roll containing Obama's birth certificate, not just a microfilm copy of Obama's long-form birth certificate in isolation," Corsi explained. "An individual microfilm copy could be forged, but forging the entire microfilm reel on which Obama's birth certificate is in sequence would be almost impossible."

Also, Corsi said, the posse wants the ink-and-paper original 1961 Obama birth records still held in vault by the Hawaii Department of Health to be released publicly and subjected to independent court-authorized forensic examination.

They keep re-electing him to kick butt and take names, that is exactly what he is doing.

LOL!

I assumed 0h0m0 wears them. If he follows Reggie’s admonition not to wear any, it would be a heck of an uglier scene.

"Maybe an investigation of perjury committed against the State of Arizona when Obama signed an affidavit claiming to be Constitutionally eligible to be President..."

Standards of other criminal investigations would have to be applied, to justify the expenditures of Arpaio's office and his subordinate's time on this matter.

Statutory Authority: Is there a statute against this specific allegation of electoral fraud, or would it be under a blanket definition of fraud?

Jurisdiction: How would an action defrauding the State of Arizona justify investigation by a County Sheriff? Wouldn't it be a matter for a state agency, like the Secretary of State, instead?

Statute of Limits: Is there an applicable time frame for a charge to be made?

Ah! ....But the threat of being charged with fraud might keep Obama off the ballot in Arapio’s district ( at least) in 2012. I don't think that would do his campaign any good in that county or anywhere in the U.S.

If Obama is not a natural born citizen the it would surely be fraud for him to solicit, accept, and spend the millions collected from unknowing supporters. It would also be fraud for him to allow his name to be on the ballot.

I am not naive, though. Election officials, governors, and judges don't give a twit about the rule of law.

You are being obtuse.

Of course the sheriff will not be able to remove Obama from the ballot, in his or any other county. He probably won't be able to charge Obama with a crime no matter what the outcome of his investigation.

But what he might be able to do, if he can prove the online document is fraudulent, is charge someone in the Obama administration for commiting fraud against the people of his county.

Sheriff Joe won't be able to arrest Obama, or most likely anyone in his administration. But what he might be able to do, is put some evidence out there that the media (or maybe even Congress, or the SCOTUS) will no longer be able to ignore.

I guess so.

I guess Maricopa county will issue a proclamation of sorts, detailing why Obama is not allowed on the ballot. Then the case can go to Arizona's supreme court, and force all of Arizona to remove him. Then on to the US supremos, and these people at the Hospital can explain themselves in front of that court. That could be embarrassing for them if they in fact know he was not born there and refused to let it be known .

"If Obama is not a natural born citizen the it would surely be fraud for him to solicit, accept, and spend the millions collected from unknowing supporters. It would also be fraud for him to allow his name to be on the ballot.

Fraud could be easily charged, as donors identified with residence within Maricopa County are easily sorted from campaign finance disclosure reports.

That's a more probable angle of success than trying to keep Obama off the 2012 ballot, as eligibility for the ballot would be under the jurisdiction of the Secretary of State's office (unless there are County statutes which somehow supercede State regulations).

A conviction for fraud might get tied up in court, as it may have to be proven that the defendant had knowledge in advance that a fraud was being committed.

What evidence exists that Obama knowingly allowed his name to be placed on the ballot in violation of the NBC requirement? Would the separate document submitted to Hawaii and signed by Pelosi, meet that standard?

Even if the BC proves BO was not an NBC, can a court get a jury to believe BO was aware of "Vittle" and other obscure and sometimes conflicting case rulings, in advance of his candidacy?

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

That he taught so form of constitutional law in a law school, and should have checked out his eligibility before taking millions in donations or allowing his name to be on the ballot.

Wouldn't counsel for the defense then have an easy explanation to make for a jury:

That "NBC status" is too inadequately defined for a conviction, and the recent federal court ruling could be cited which stated that determination of NBC status is instead under the jurisdiction of Congress?

That would take years to wind its way up the Supreme Court, I would expect. But...Hey! I am not an attorney.

However...In the court of public opinion, I would think such a charge or trial of that nature would be very damaging to Obama and the Democrat Party.

A court trial of this sort would be spun by MSNBC as some sort of "persecution" by "Arizona right-wingers (like those who passed the SB1070 anti-illegal immigration bill).

Same tactic was used during the Clinton impeachment hearings, to obscure the underlying facts about criminal conduct.

” Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s no-kill animal shelter, MASH, was created to house and care for animals that have been abused or neglected by their caretakers and rescued by the Animal Crimes Investigations Unit. The purpose of the shelter is to provide a safe, healthy and healing shelter for these tragic animals, who must necessarily await the outcome of their owners’ cruelty cases in court. Hopefully, their ultimate outcome will be adoption into loving, permanent homes...”

Kind to animals, harsh to criminals. Which is actually another form of mercy...

SHERIFF JOE IS AT IT AGAIN!

Oh, there’s MUCH more to know about Sheriff Joe!

Maricopa County was spending approx. $18 million dollars a year on stray animals, like cats and dogs. Sheriff Joe offered to take the department over, and the County Supervisors said okay.

The animal shelters are now all staffed and operated by prisoners. They feed and care for the strays. Every animal in his care is taken out and walked twice daily. He now has prisoners who are experts in animal nutrition and behavior. They give great classes for anyone who’d like to adopt an animal. He has literally taken stray dogs off the street, given them to the care of prisoners, and had them place in dog shows.

The best part? His budget for the entire department is now under $3 million. Teresa and I adopted a Weimaraner from a Maricopa County shelter two years ago. He was neutered, and current on all shots, in great health, and even had a microchip inserted the day we got him. Cost us $78.

The prisoners get the benefit of about $0.28 an hour for working, but most would work for free, just to be out of their cells for the day. Most of his budget is for utilities, building maintenance, etc. He pays the prisoners out of the fees collected for adopted animals.

I have long wondered when the rest of the country would take a look at the way he runs the jail system, and copy some of his ideas. He has a huge farm, donated to the county years ago, where inmates can work, and they grow most of their own fresh vegetables and food, doing all the work and harvesting by hand.

He has a pretty good sized hog farm, which provides meat, and fertilizer. It fertilizes the Christmas tree nursery, where prisoners work, and you can buy a living Christmas tree for $6 - $8 for the Holidays, and plant it later. We have six trees in our yard from the Prison.

Yup, he was reelected last year with 83% of the vote...

I love him EVEN MORE now!

His methods should be copied all over the country. And the prisoners caring for the animals!! Now that is good rehabilitation. Guaranteed they come out of there much better men.

Has anyone checked the laws in Arizona? Counties have a lot of control over their elections. Just look back to 2000 in Florida.

Those Florida counties had the presidential election in their hands. One county, I forget, kept changing how they counted the chads and Bush still came out ahead. Dade county went through the Gore precints and didn’t gain much and tried to hide when reviewing Bush precints. They were stopped.

So if the state of AZ allows the counties to determine how they conduct the voting and the candidates requirements to get on the ballot then Sheriff Joe is doing his job.

What’s the problem? Taxpayer dollars aren’t going to this, and you never know, he might actually bag one. Kudos to Sheriff Joe.
