Jonathan Martin (Left) from Politico has demonstrated yet again Politico’s double standard in its reporting of stories about political candidates. Martin has along with Chris Matthews of MSNBC repeatedly reported attack stories on GOP candidates. Politico and other media including FOX News are saying that Herman Cain must either deny the claims reported by Politico’s Martin or put out his side of the story. Why is it that Herman Cain has to deny or explain something when Politico (specifically Jonathan Martin) and others have protected Barack Obama from having to deny or explain his 1999 homosexual activities along with his selling & use of cocaine?

No, I think Cain needs to deal decisively with this issue and not try to deflect. Nevertheless, this Obama thing is also relevant and should be escalated if not adequately explained if there's reasonable evidence.

Oh it would be great if Cain said "Nearly everyone in high political office has these types of allegations thrown at them. President Obama for example is alleged to have had homosexual relations by a man named Larry Sinclair. Now of course I don't think it's true, but Mr. Sinclair certainly seems to believe it."

So far it looks like allegations from two women, one of which was settled out of court (doesn't look like anything to it) and I hope there's nothing to the other one either.
