While I do expect Sarah Palin to endorse Newt, I also expect him to receive some major endorsements from religious leaders as well. Good article.

Unfortunately, Newt has a lot of baggage and at the same time knows more about the job than his competitors. I'd vote for him just to see a debate between him and zero

“He is clearly Pro-Life, defends the primacy of marriage and the family ....”
Newt certainly believes in marriage, he's been married enough times. I'm not sure he believes in the primacy of marriage and the family.
Man the lifeboats. It's getting deep.

I've never been able to figure this guy out.
Half of the stuff he says makes me want to get behind him and cheer... the other half makes me want to go scarface on him.
In the end, he is lugging around far too much baggage... not to mention his amnesty and global warming stance. I think i'd write in my mother in-law before I'd vote for him

Newt Gingrich is a slimebag.
To: jageorge72
Gingrich supported Cap and Tax, illegal immigration, and was not friendly to gun rights. He compromised too much with Bill Clinton.

It was a pretty decent article. Newt has some good qualities, some very good ones, and some very not-good ones. There have been many times where he was the guy on the spot. But not for this. For me, personally, most of the good qualities are not the ones I want the most in a president, but better suited to a support role. And, I must admit that crazy PSA with Madam Pelosi keeps coming back to haunt, also. Sorry Newt: No.

Oh, my gosh.
CONSISTENT?
Yeah, he consistently makes horrible decisions.
And I really don’t think he’s the poster boy for “defending marriage”.
