Well Ann Coulter wants Romney for president.

I think she expects Romney will be the nominee.

I am just trying to put it all together in my head. Am not giving the latest accusations any credibility, but where I am troubled is this......

He attends a ALL black Democrat Church, he openly admits that he is at odds with Pastor Alexander and the congregation on Christian Social issues ie ABORTION, yet he still breaks bread with them?

Now I learn he drinks.

While there may be exceptions, Evangelical Christians overwhelmingly do not drink.

He is/was a Pastor, drinks, is not sure if he is pro life or pro choice, has no problem attending a Church that openly supports non Christian Judges on the Supreme Court.

I am not confident in what I would be getting from this guy.

For the record I have little respect for Bachmann, and I am very suspect of Perry. Perry says he is pro life now, regrets his days as a non Christian Democrat, but then turns around and supports Rudy G for President.

Entirely missed the Reagan revolution, worked for Gore in 88.

Romney...no good period

I currently have no candidate, minus my hope for my tagline

I don't know where you got that. Lots of evangelicals drink alcohol. In fact, a poll shows that 40% of evangelical LEADERS are social drinkers.

“Lynching” suggests a racial motivation and I just don’t buy it.

That is exactly why I used the term "lynching" because there is an extreme hatred by the demoRAT party against any individuals considered to be minority classes, who stray outside the demoRAT "plantation" (another so-called racial word). The lefties & demoRAT party save their worst bile & venom against any minority blacks who happen to be conservatives or considered to be a threat to 0dumb0 or to the leftist agenda. Even moderate repubs like Condalezza Rice was widely lampooned by the left as Aunt Jemima, or Michael Steele that the lefties threw oreo cookies at. If even 1% of this type of hateful racist behavior was ever done against any liberal socialist RAT bastard demoRAT by Repubs, the media & the demoRATs would be howling with feigned outrage.

I don't think you can express it any way, other than racial hatred by the entire spectrum of the lefties & media, against Hermann Cain. Sure as shootin, the media & left will turn on any GOP candidate with a maniacal vengence & hatred once the nominee is named as the GOP candidate, but if Cain survives this and becomes the GOP candidate, we will see an explosion of racial hatred expressed by the demoRAT party leaders & the media, that will rival or exceed the worst excesses of the segregated South.

Well, not everyone’s memory is so hazy. Iowa radio host Steve Deace has revealed the awkward comment that Herman Cain made while at his radio station. Cain made a comment to a woman who was there to report on the radio interview for another news agency.

Cain said, ‘Darling, do you mind doctoring my tea for me?’

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2802329/posts

Frankly, if all the other supposed allegations out there turn out to be as devastating as this one, I don’t see how Cains survives this ordeal. Put a fork in him....

Two women paid off, one for $45k and one for $35k. Her numbers look pretty close to me. Of course I have no link, but it’s out there. Even Herman admits they were paid off.

Where do you live? True we don't drink much, but I finished a whole six-pack all by myself in one month, and that is not unusual here in the Rocky Mountain West.

Item: Alcohol consumption in Colorado Springs, Colorado is slightly higher than the rest of the nation (then again...with 50,000 troops in town.....)

Politico reported Thursday that one of the women who accused Cain of sexual harassment during his tenure received a $45,000 settlement. The New York Times had previously reported that a second woman obtained a $35,000 payout

Actually, he hasn’t got a sliver of the vitriol that they vented toward Sarah Palin. What was reported by Politico would have been reported by them regardless of Cain’s race.

To claim that it is race based is the sort of thing that Obama supporters do in denouncing the tea party. It’s as bad as Anita Perry claiming that they’ve especially gone after her husband because he’s a Christian.

Save the race card until it is called for.

Thanks for the info. I was under the impression that there was one payout for either 35 or 45.

Conflating the numbers makes it seem like their was one payout of 80, though.

Well I said overwhelmingly, and I should have added IMHO.

The Pentecostal Church I attend, and it`s affiliates has a statement of beliefs that includes not drinking. BTW does not mean a person can not attend, just in the statement of beliefs.

Drinking is frowned on in any Church I have ever been involved in, and I know because I came to the Lord as a alcoholic, I received a lot of support from these same people over the time It took me to put it behind me.

Serious Christians do not stop off at the liquor store on Friday night

In Luke 7:33-35 Jesus rebukes the Pharisees by saying “For John the Baptist came neither eating bread nor drinking wine, and you say, `He has a demon.’ The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and you say, `Here is a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and “sinners.” Clearly Jesus Drank. Some “followers” of Christ or “Christians” may think it is wrong to drink, but clearly Christ drank!.

Well I guess we will disagree then. I think it is racially motivated against a conservative black man, and yes, once the GOP nominee is chosen, the hatred & vitriol of the left will be turned on that person as well. And yes, Sarah Palin has been attacked as viciously as can be.

I had not heard that Anita Perry claimed that they’ve especially gone after her husband because he’s a Christian. However contrary to what you may think, that is part of it as well! In the gospels, Jesus clearly pointed out, "Don't be surprised when the world hates you, it hated me first". Biblical Christianity is just one more reason that the demonic left hates us. Racism, anti-Semitism, class warfare, attacks on Judeo-Christian beliefs, lies, smears, are all part of the attack arsonal from the left. We are at war with these socialist RAT bastards (demoRAT party & the shilling left wing media) and they will stop at nothing to retain their power.

“The lastest is that the supposed third girl grown adult of age woman is one of the original two. Just more msm spin.”

Yes, thanks. It’s confusing in a media frenzy. Now it seems to be back to two women who were paid off but a third who did not sue, because she said the other one did! Bizarre! I have not followed the television rounds on this story for two days for all the hype and the back and forth going on. I am catching hell because I can’t remember where I heard/read what, or who the source was in the story. I remember now that the Rove/Bush machine/Romney-Cain connection was a THEORY, or “rumbling” as I put it later in one of my comments. That theory was introduced to me by another poster on FR. I entertained the idea with that poster. Next, I hear Rove/Cain/Condi are appearing together on camera. Maybe, Hannity? I mentioned the theory and called it a “rumbling”, and now I am suppose to source that! Ha!

This is an open forum and I am just as interested in background gossip on connections, theories and suppositions as the next person. I do not believe Cain to be pure as the wind driven snow but believe that it was all in his past. I do not believe he is a “drinker” because I heard him say he drinks wine. White wine. Fine. I do believe he was embolden by happy hours in his past, which is probably why he got in trouble with a couple of female staffers and the company was out thousands to get it to go away. Period. So now I postulated that is why he made a point of saying he drinks wine, not beer. I presume he gave up the stuff that emboldened him, shall I say, which may or may not have been harder liquor than wine. I do also think it is curious that in these months I have never seen his wife with him, unless when the heat is on he chooses to have her appear. Now I hear that she is scheduled for an appearance. Do I remember where I read that she is scheduled for an appearance? No.

Now, I have told you all my troubles. LOL!!!

” I am just trying to put it all together in my head. Am not giving the latest accusations any credibility, but where I am troubled is this...... “ <<<<<

Personally, I think your comment here does a pretty good job of putting it all together.

I believe Cain’s misadventures are probably well in his past. Thanks be to God. I believe he erred in not getting this “past” of his, out, before the mean fish could try to devour him with it. Maybe he could have done an open interview early on, one on one, with some sympathetic reporter. Not Greta. Like, maybe low lights and dim bulbs with a Barbara Walters type, where they could be civil and discuss to some tasteful extent what happened and that he has learned to drink only wine, and that he outgrew the occasions calling for circulating alone among the happy hour crowds.

Bottom line is, like Clinton, Cain had a lot of nerve to decide to run for the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES, thinking he none of this would never come up. Can he not spell “opposition research”? It is a fine art. He had to be surely smart enough to understand that. In the 90’s he says he disclosed one of the two settlements, in prep for his senatorial run, but not the second settlement. He comes into the nomination race totally unprepared, except for the “he said, she said” verbage. I dunno. It’s just weird to go from the board room to the sound room with a radio show for no reason. To me, it smells a little. Outsized ego here, with a bit of a past, who has absorbed the language of the southern churches, and has got conservative speak down just fine because of it.

Who knows? But blaming Perry irritates my feathers. I can’t help it because Perry has a war room, finally, and Cain because he has never bothered with putting one together does not.

FOX reported yesterday (yeah, do the search if someone needs proof) she was scheduled to appear on some FNC show but cancelled. Like she or any of their wives need another stand by my man speech. I don't blame her at all for cancelling. Frankly, I haven't seen any spouses other than a rare photo attached to an article or a quote. I heard Mrs. Perry confirmed her husband's religious beliefs and Mr. Bachmann said something or other but it passed under my radar. Can't think of any other spouse speaking out so Mrs. Cain being out there or not doesn't amount to anything.

Thank you for a civil response. I had not heard that the Mrs. Cain interview is now cancelled. And thank you for remembering the outcome of your source search revealed that it was on FOX, and that the interview was cancelled. How did you do the search for that information? How do you do the search for the full text of Wilson’s comments as an eye witness to Cain’s behavior? And the radio guy DEACE, or something? Deace is the employer of the third female who did not attempt a settlement.

If you have an answer to these questions, my point is that Lonevoice and Political Mom, can go do the same search, but only if they are interested in doing so. I am not. I have already read it. I figure they can do their own dang research if they don’t like hearing what I post because I have already read it. Now that I have mentioned these two posters, I suppose I have to include them in this reply. DRAT! :)

Of course that’s why it’s coming out now. And it’s from some configuration of the Romney/Perry camp (they’re not as separate as the pretend to be).

Yes. If it were the Donkees, they'd stash it in the deep freeze until next October.
