I don't know why they can't make things simple. I used to work as a consultant at a state agency several years ago. One of my buddies who's worked for the state for 20 years told me if issue 2 passes, his seniority will mean nothing and Ohio will eliminate workers based on salaries.

Seems to me that's a little more than just making them pay for their own health insurance.

But I still say screw the unions.

Our son-in-law works for the city and serves as a union steward. He is convinced if Issue 2 passes he will be laid off on Wednesday. He has been told the city has been compiling a list of people to fire for several years in anticipation of this. How the city was able to foresee such a vote he can’t answer. Otherwise he is a smart man.
