No, actually, I’d vote for Newt. I’d vote for Cain. I wouldn’t vote for Perry. But the media has liked playing “flavor of the month” this year, and Newt is not a good choice for those leaving Cain for alleged attempted adultery.
Most of Cains supporters were likely with Perry in late August, Bachmann in July. Based on the fact that Cain was at 2% in the polls as recently as August 25, when Perry was at 27%.
If I’m a Cain supporter, on the fence about this, just remember Newt did worse. That’s all. Newt’s a good debater, and there’s some other good things about him, but on the adultery front, Newt’s worse.
For some very strange reason the left has convinced the right that our candidates need to be picture perfect in virtue. Even the appearance of "unethical" behavior is now the kiss of death for conservative candidate. I CALL BULL SH*T.
Why do our guys have to be perfect and their guys don't? because we are fools, we have given the Marxists veto power over who we can and can not choose. Little wonder we get our butts kicked by the left when they get to pick and choose who gets to be in the GOP leadership. This has got to stop now or we and the country are permanently screwed.
We should be fighting the Marxist with our best warriors, not our hollyest saints. If the left does in Cain their next target will be Newt. Then I'm sure they'll find something on Perry, etc. Guys gals wake up and tell the Marxists we don't care if our candidates are not perfect in every way, all we care about is running them out of power.
