Don’t bother. He’s convinced that hundreds of people across the state knew the full extent of Sandusky’s pedophilia and simply ignored it. You’re not going to talk any sense into him.

(Honest reporting hasn't caught on in the United States.)
They didn't have to know the FULL EXTENT of Sandusky's pedophilia, they had to have the decency to SUSPECT it and followup on finding out was going on.
They couldn't be bothered with doing that.
