Be gentle; I think the world witnessed actual neurological symptoms tonight. When taken with the speech patterns and other deer in the headlights moments, I fear Rick has a neurological problem and we should not be trashing him for waht he cannot help but suffer through.
Well, you have to remember Perry is already POTUS of a whole ‘nother country. Texas GDP is bigger than India’s.
He’s used to speaking one-on-one with companies he persuades to move their businesses and employees here, which do.
It’s hard to compress what you do everyday into sound bites or debate zingers. People who excel at saying things are rarely DOers, and vice-versa. That’s why we have spokesmen.
I’ve been thinking the same thing. If it turns out later that he’s got early-stage Alzheimers that would be horrifying.
Shame on you.
An ethical doctor *wouldn’t* make a diagnosis as you did, and most of us *couldn’t* with any confidence that we’d prevail at court, and we’d be destroyed at a seminar/M&M.
Regardless of ethics, the observed behavior - the gestalt - does not come anywhere near pathological or indicative of a syndrome. There would be other deficiencies in evidence - although those deficiencies might require an actual examination by a practicing, experienced physician to certify with any sort of professional competence.
