Perry is one of the few (if any) candidates who is confident enough to be able to laugh at himself. That’s laudable and human. A lapse in an otherwise very good debate performance. He can’t be counted out.

I watched it and am not a Perry fan, but I though it was funny. I am still on the Cain train, but some laughs are good...we have all had brain farts, even R. Paul got a laugh....

Not in a televised campaign debate.

It's one thing to mis-speak when you're on the road and surrounded by a gaggle of reporters asking off the cuff questions. I don't know any candidate who hasn't committed a gaffe under those circumstances.

But in a live debate, which you've no doubt spent considerable time preparing for? Disastrous. Even more-so, considering that he's goofed like this several times already in the debates.
