Jerry Sandusky Rumored to Have Been 'Pimping Out Young Boys to Rich Donors,' Says Mark Madden
NESN ^ | 11/10/11 | Michael Hurley

Posted on 11/10/2011 7:01:47 AM PST by BunnySlippers

What he said was twice as shocking as anything that's been released thus far.

"I can give you a rumor and I can give you something I think might happen," Madden told John Dennis and Gerry Callahan. "I hear there's a rumor that there will be a more shocking development from the Second Mile Foundation -- and hold on to your stomachs, boys, this is gross, I will use the only language I can -- that Jerry Sandusky and Second Mile were pimping out young boys to rich donors. That was being investigated by two prominent columnists even as I speak."

Madden also spoke more definitively to the cover-up efforts at the school and beyond that he expects will be made public soon.

"The other thing I think that may eventually become uncovered, and I talked about this in my original article back in April, is that I think they'll find out that Jerry Sandusky was told that he had to retire in exchange for a cover-up," Madden said. "If you look at the timeline, that makes perfect sense, doesn't it?

Penn State is not a state school. It is an affiliate.

Can you clarify for those of us in Rio Linda?

Have you read the indictment? Sandusky not a pedophile? That ship has sailed. He is a serial pedophile. But that doesn’t mean he was alone in this or did not pimp the kids out.

But no man could do what he did just to groom boys. That would make him even a bigger monster than a pedophile, if that is even possible.

“Penn State is not a state school. It is an affiliate.”

What does THAT mean? Penn State is one of the top PUBLIC research universities in the country, with State College being the flagship campus. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pennsylvania_State_University

My wife asked me what the furor was all about...she does not listen to anything sport related albeit this is far beyond just sports....and I could not bring myself to describe what was going on so I just said think of what is the worse crime you can imagine between guys and boys. That is how I feel about this. Frankly if we dropped a neutron bomb on Happy Valley, I’d not feel justice was served here. There is NO WAY this could have gone on this long and this far without tacit approval up and down the chain of command. The fact it went on was probably aided by the pro homo stance of the University to boot.

Exactly right on the “rumor” notion. People from as low down as the janitors and as high up as the school Prez new at least something. As I stated before, even in my HS or heck, the grocery store I work at now, when there is something fishy going on EVERYONE hears about it no matter how minor. I got rear-ended a couple weeks ago on my way to work. By the time I walked through the door half the employees had already heard about it. So, you can’t tell me that something THIS serious wasn’t at least heard about by nearly everyone in that football program.

And his wife! Come on! He brought these kids to her home repeatedly, for years. She’s either the dumbest person alive or she was also and enabler and should be ashamed of herself. How you stayed married to a monster like that, I’ll never know. I’d be sick, just sick that he ever touched me in any way.

The Franklin Cover Up - Part Deux!!!

According to this FoxSports.com article Paterno was on the Honorary Board of Second Mile....when you go to the site now.....his name has disappeared....the same as the Sandusky goodbye letter.

(Wondering if the guy in this pic is part of the investigation...supposedly one victim is now in the military)

THE SECOND MILE < %EC% PENN STATE COACH TACKLES PROBLEMS OF TROUBLED CHILDREN
Philadelphia Daily News (PA) - Thursday, December 23, 1982
Author: PAUL DOMOWITCH

EXCERPT

Especially one with the connections Sandusky and The Second Mile seemed to have. An honorary board of directors that includes Joe Paterno , Franco Harris, John Cappelletti, Arnold Palmer, Ruly Carpenter, Fred Waring and Robert Kirby might look nice in the paper, but, for people whose only source of revenue is a can in convenience stores, it can rub the wrong way a little.

I really want to know if the admin knew about any of this and if that’s why Spanier never got SecEd.

Is it possible Sandusky only started this behavior in his 50’s? The history of his crimes surely dates back to his early adult years?

This Madden fellow may be right, but he should have waited until he knew that this rumor was true.

He probably knows that it is true, just doesn't have hard evidence that would hold up in court or doesn't want to be sued.

I did not realize he’s out on bail. BAD IDEA. If he is allowed to commit suicide to avoid facing the charges and going to prison, it will make it easy to brush alot of the horrors under the rug.

I think the timeline takes it back to 1977. That makes him 34. Sounds right.

It means rumors were flying for YEARS!
