There is not one candidate running who will do what you want them to do. Open your eyes.

My eyes are wide open. This article wasn't about all the candidates. It was about Perry and his interview. The first debate I watched, I believe it was Perry's first, they asked the question to several of the candidates about what they would do with the illegals here. NONE of the ones who were asked had the right answer. In fact, none of them had an answer at all. They all talked about how they needed to secure the border. I remember Bachmann particularly repeating the answer about securing the border, and I fussed at the TV that that didn't answer the question. Fact is, though, none of the other candidates have the same issues with the perception of hispandering that Perry does. You can argue whether it is deserved or not, but it's there. From the in-state tuition to the 'heartless' comment from disagreement with Arizona's law when it was first passed, he has a problem. But, he continues to make it worse with these weaselly non-answers.

Just like his brain-fart in the debate. If he had great, or even medicore, performances in the previous debates, one could write it off to just one of those things. But, he has a reputation of being horrible in debates. When you have that reputation, you can't do what he did the other night. He has to come out tougher on illegals than anyone else to change the perception of his being weak on the issue. But, just like at the debates, he can't pull it off.

When Perry first announced, I predicted he would be the next President. He was the more conservative answer to Romney. But, I was embarrassed for him at the first debate, then insulted by him, then fed up with him, and now ready for him to exit stage left.

Right but we can sit and bash anyone and every one. that's easy but the goal is to get rid of Obama.

Now if border security is really such a hot issue with everyone, Perry is the only candidate with a proven record of actually attempting to secure the border. The rest is just rhetoric.

I like Bachman but I never once heard of her border fence idea until she ran for President yet she has been sitting in Congress. Where is her border fence bill she wrote?

Hey I can respect that but when you look at the alternatives you may be glad Perry is still in the race come election time.
