Third: It was the Texas Legislature that enacted the law with 99+% Yes votes and Perry could not have changed that under any circumstances. NONE They voted on it again in 2005 and it passed with a unanimous vote. They brought it up recently and only 2 legislatures wanted to eliminate it.
Perry is correct, until the border is secured by the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT then the education problem will not go away thanks to the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT. OBAMA is the one you need to blame but you refuse to do so.
Fourth: It is a Texas law. He is sworn to uphold Texas State Laws.
Fifth: If Perry were President, he will swear to uphold the Constitution of the United States of America.
And that includes securing the border, which he will do since at that time he will have all the resources and funds to do so.
