Many Americans were ignorant enough at the time to believe they were watching the trial of Clarence Thomas rather than hearings, and since the leftist media had already convicted him (though he was never charged) to this day Anita Hill is treated as a legitimate victim. The situation with Cain, if he is in fact innocent (at this point I believe he is) is even more evil because the accusers are white women, which carries a whole set of undertones in & of itself.
