Democracy is not served by all this, because it allows the guilty to hide with the innocent. These constant personal attacks are so common they don't carry much weight anymore. Not standing up for Silvio, but the girl was 17. In Italy, she is past the age of sexual consent. In Britain, she would also be, as it is 16.
Silvio isnt a paedophile, lets reserve that for men who sleep or attempt to sleep with girls much younger. He IS a dirty old man though.
