IMO (note my new tagine) war is coming, one way or another, financial and economic collapse, probably internal wars or whatever - I hope you and yours are stocked up and prepared. Have you read Travis McGee’s books? I think they’re a very realistic assesment of what may come to pass.
Yes, I own all Travis’ books and I live in an area where weather (hurricane) can shut everything down for two or three weeks at a time, no power, no place to buy fuel, etc. I have enough experience with that to know if the shtf it will be very ugly. I have 50 acres, armed to the teeth and prepared for anything/everything. :0)
