strange sausage making, with all that "mic check" stuff.
"moving? when and where. decide right now/ it's getting late."
Now calls for a "double" mic check.

I do get a good laugh at so many posters here.

This is why it was a brilliant strategy. The police kept them up and awake all night. The protesters thought they had won because the police didn't evict them that night. And then after they all declared victory and most went home to sleep the police moved in.

And you "told me so" too soon. Protesters celebrated a major victory, and the next stunt would be much bigger and more anarchist in nature in a very short time. These occufascists are vampires, and when the light of day comes, most go into hiding to ward off the light and sleep off the numerous drugs they've injected and ingested.
In case you haven't checked back, as soon as darkness fell, they are now amassing again, IN THE STREETS, putting up tents, IN THE STREETS. They are daring the police to do something about it, and will settle for nothing less than a violent confrontation. The occucommunists WANT a "Kent State moment," and police are duty bound to give it to them if they don't want to capitulate to the sworn enemies of America.
That's good for our side. Now they're impeding traffic and losing whatever public sympathy they might have had. It's a long term strategy by the PD.
Nope, no impeded traffic. The cops announced that they were opening 4th street, two minutes later, they moved back and the cars started coming in. Every street is now opened. Portland Police handled this whole thing very well.
Very possible that we will end up paying for his education anyway, as the current administration is granting many holders of students loans huge breaks and some are being completely forgiven. I did check craigslist, no openings for a Klingon Philosopher, one could come up if we get that new “Jobs Bill” passed though.
I'm pretty sure that about half of the Federal Government jobs are as useful and applicable to the real world as Klingon Philosopher, and probably require a similar skill-set - he'll fit right in as soon as the Democrats can manufacturer a public sector position for him.
I just love that it is raining and cold there.
