I shall never forget that image of him sitting on that bench with Princess Nancy.

No matter how glibly he tries to explain his reason.

I adore Bachmans new look.

Me too, smart move by Bachmann. In Iowa they had her Barbie doll up. Not a smart move when she wants to be taken seirously.

There was a study released this week that glamming up tends to make people take both men and women less seriously. This look is much better for Bachmann

I’m still not willing to give Rove a pass simply because he has GOP next to his name.

I remember what he did to O’Donnell.

In 2008 we were not fighting Obama. We were fighting the Dream of Obama.

Now everyone can see what a disaster Obama really is and how much he’s hurt the country.

He’s also lost whatever charm he had.

Bachmann had a good interview with Gregory. He got to the point of just letting her talk - no rebuttal thoughts at all.

Didn’t she look great? I agree with you, the new hairstyle is perfect on her.

Was FNS trying to place the blame on the REP gov?

Can't tell ya, as I had my snoot buried in this thread instead. But that would be an illogical position, as state governors unfortunately have no control over the tenured communist and pervert whackjob propagandists infesting our colleges and universities.

I could be wrong, but I'll bet that the relationship between most state governments and "institutions of higher learning" is one of "benevolent grants" rather than direct budgetary appropriations based on accountability.

Gingrich is a quintessential Washington beltway insider.

If one has listened to his pre-presidential-run commentaries since leaving the House, every one was “we are going to do this, we are presenting that, we, we, we.”

So, who is the ‘we’ he talks about? He doesn’t hold any political position.

Gingrich does seem like a know it all sometimes. I wrote a book 20 years ago,
I visited Cancer Institute, I talked to so and so.

His think tank mentality might be a disaster as President.

I shall never forget the image of Gingrich sitting next to Slick Willie somewhere in New Hampshire, iirc, and telling his tv and live audience how well they were going to work together. Newt was all smiles and open body language; Clinton was rolling his eyes and trying to control his laughter, at the sucker sitting next to him.

Nobody should be tenured. Not even baseball players.

Supreme Court justices should have a long term ... maybe 10 to 15 years, but not life.

College professors should never get tenure.

Colleges are losing popularity right now. They cost too much. They seem to give a sense of entitlement to the students while offering such pablum as women’s studies, black history and so on.

College has attained an unreasonable stature with a lot of people thinking you’re toast if you don’t go.

I just paid two plumber bills this month. Trade school would be a lot better for many people and they would make more money.

Morning buddy.

Here's what washerwoman had to say in just a short interview with DNC Dave. She was a moronic/hand puppet chatting point! Never heard so many so fast except from the Bent Axel himself who probably provided this pap for her.

I counted some 20 points she rattled off with the basic idea zero is "for the middle class" and we pubbies are "just standing in the way" refusing to go along with his agenda. No matter that he plunged us into debt some 5 trillion already and is headed towards six. She says he only did that to get the economy started again!! Hard to fathom how these commiecrats think! If you can call it that.

Here goes her rant.

1. Zero will fight for the middle class--never mind he has plunged their kids into untenable debt forever that will never be paid off.

2. "It's all the fault of the wealthy"--more class warfare-its key to what they plan.Blame the rich, repeat the lie astroturf it in the media and never stop blaming the rich even though its who they are. Massive projection from the commiecrats. They are the finest BS artists alive.

3."We still have a long way to go"--They desperately need an excuse for their incompetence where none exist in reality .

4."Obama has had steady progress with the economy"--never a word about 9.0% unemployment only the millions of jobs he created or "saved" even better.

5."When we took over we were losing 750,000 jobs per month"--more its all Bush's fault still running on that.

6."Zero is keyed in on creating jobs"--only if they come from govt. hard to imagine anyone would run on this.

7."All hands on deck"--she really said it as if they care about any of this crap--everyone needs to get behind zero(socialism) even though it does not work and never has.

8."partisonnship--its all the pubbies fault they never compromise with us". Of course compromise means "giving in" and we have learned not to do it just have not learned how to get our messages across. 9. "We can't wait" that's why zero has to use so many executive orders. Everything is an emergency whether anything he does is legal or not--key socialism tactic create emergency, blame us.

10.Dnc Dave says to zero "you didn't do crap with the super committee" debbie says "he called them"--wow made a phone call!!--Scary the way these bozos think. He has no ideas except more spending more socialism

11."Ask more from millionaires and billionaires"--class warfare never ends--demonize the rich. Never tell what they really do create jobs! Lie upon lie and get it repeated. This has Axelrod written all over it.

12."Congress won't cooperate pubbies won't compromise"--zero wants to keep plunging the economy increasing the debt and when we don't go along they rewrite it as "we won't compromise" and the press goes along with it. They win. We lose because our guys won't yell and scream like they do.We fight fire with a half full squirt gun and wonder why they get traction.

13."Pubbies were never serious about tax reform they want cuts" we want it raised--classic difference between socialism v. capitalism. But never framed by our side as it is.

14."We don't want dems to win--there fore we sabotage everything they want" -- just too good.

15.DNC Dave asks about the debt--debbie says, "we inherited it all from GW"their answers never bear any resemblance to reality but dnc dave never calls her on anything!--Just too good!!

16."GW tax cuts in 2001--unpaid for"--you don't pay for tax cuts idiots! They create new and bigger revenue. Axel has tried to claim they don't and he is winning with it!! Hard to imagine we are that lame.Time for Newt to straighten the agenda.

17."Twenty straight months of growth"anyone who believes this is still smoking crack

18. dnc dave inquires about growing debt--washerwoman says,--"its necessary to grow jobs" crazy logic.

19.This is really good when dnc dave tells all the ills of the regime washerwoman says that, "it would have been worse with Mitt Romney--(obviously a talking point she clumsily tried to get it in although it did not fit)she claims Mitt would have allowed a disaster and dnc dave goes right along with her projectionist logic--just too good.

20. "Millionaires have it good" zero is for only here for the middle class, and "the Republicans are rooting for the economy to fail, after a while you start to get what they are all about.

Lies, distortions, excuses, the blame game, and its always someone else's fault never theirs.

This stuff is important since Debbie blabbermouth is the supposed chair of the DNC. In truth she is so much like zero its not funny. Just another walking, talking teleprompter gal with an empty brain.

Newt is a college professor with a high IQ, but he is not a leader or an executive. We are electing a CEO and it will not be him - so twentieth century, and we are in the second decade of the twenty-first.

Conservatives screwed up in the first place by not challenging the claims that water boarding is torture.

If it’s torture, it’s along the lines of sleep deprivation or loud music.

Nobody has died or injured by water boarding. Maybe the media would prefer real torture? Perhaps they could interview some real torture victims from Russia, China, Afghanistan, Iraq and Iran to get a better understanding.
