THE SUN NEVER SETS ON FREE REPUBLIC!

HOME OF FREE REPUBLIC: FRESNO, CALIFORNIA

FReepathon Day 45 ... Open All Night!

FReepathon Day 45! If you contribute today, or very soon, we won't have to ask you again until next year!!! Plus, it won't seem like FReepathon's are running continuously.

If you sign up to become a Monthly Donor, like 105 FReepers already have since October 1, 2011, our future FReepathons will be shorter in time! In addition, for every FReeper or Lurker who signs up to become a New Monthly Donor, generous FReepers are donating $10.00 to FR for each New Monthly Donor sign-up! The minimum is $5 monthly but if you make it $7, FR will net $5.00!

I can't write a "Jim Robinson Fire Ya Up" essay, but I can quote him, and he wrote this one year ago today!!

Free Republic is pro-God, pro-life, pro-family, pro-Constitution, pro-Bill of Rights, pro-gun, pro-limited government, pro-private property rights, pro-limited taxes, pro-capitalism, pro-national defense, pro-freedom, and-pro America. We oppose all forms of liberalism, socialism, fascism, pacifism, totalitarianism, anarchism, government enforced atheism, abortionism, feminism, homosexualism, racism, wacko environmentalism, judicial activism, etc. We also oppose the United Nations or any other world government body that may attempt to impose its will or rule over our sovereign nation and sovereign people. We believe in defending our BORDERS, our constitution and our national sovereignty.

Free Republic is private property. It is not a government project, nor is it funded by government or taxpayer money. We are not a publicly owned entity nor are we an IRS tax-free non-profit organization. We pay all applicable taxes on our income. We are not connected to or funded by any political party, news agency, or any other entity. We sell no merchandise, product or service, and we offer no subscriptions or paid memberships.

We accept no paid advertising or promotions. We are funded solely by donations (non tax deductible gifts) from our readers and participants.

We aggressively defend our God-given and first amendment guaranteed rights to free speech, free press, free religion, and FREEDOM of ASSOCIATION, as well as our constitutional right to control the use and content of our own personal private property. Despite the wailing of the liberal trolls and other doom & gloom naysayers, we feel no compelling need to allow them a platform to promote their repugnant and obnoxious propaganda from our forum. Free Republic is NOT a liberal debating society. We are conservative activists dedicated to defending our GOD-GIVEN rights, defending our constitution, defending our republic and defending our traditional American way of Life.

Our God-given Life, Liberty and freedoms are NOT negotiable!!

For God, Family, Country, Life and Liberty!!

If you cannot live with the above, fine, but keep your mouth shut about it while on FR. Don't fight against us on ANY of our deeply held beliefs!!

DON'T TREAD ON ME!!

Anti Life & Liberty trolls will be ZOT on sight!!

HEAR! HEAR Jim!! and Right On! Your Team is here for you and we're willing to wager that our membership is too!

If you haven't yet donated and "don't think you ever have to," because everyone else will carry the load, please think again and do your part to keep our lights on! We're TEA Party conservatives here and we don't much cotton to folks acting like obama's dependants and you shouldn't either!

Of course we pray for and understand that some of our loyal FReepers have been hard hit by the Marxist's economy and also that some of you are ill and cannot afford to contribute this time. Please know, you have our prayers.

Thank you very, very much, Monthly Donors and New Monthly Donors!

Thank you very, very much, Mail-In Donors!

Thank you very, very much, Donors by your States, Donors through NeverNeverLand and FReeper Donors from your respective Country's, proving "The Sun Never Sets On Free Republic," and that we always find FRiends here 24/7 every day of the year!

Thank you very, very much generous sponsors of our New Monthly Donor Campaign!

Thank you all very, very much! Thank you all more than Jim Team's can say. You rock Jim's world, just like he often says!

God Bless you all and your precious families!

Let's try to get this turkey , err, I mean FReepathon done well before Thanksgiving !!!

THE SUN NEVER SETS ON FREE REPUBLIC!

That's too bad. :(

If you're not happy with it, though..

Nah! They’re both LCD’s. I just get more reading area on the taller one.

Is this just when using your browser or is your desk top also affected?

I have that blank area beside the posting box too, but when I play movies or DVDs, or Youtube videos, I can choose a full screen, which is wonderful. On the rest of FR, I have no blank areas, and everything is larger.

Everything gets stretched out, side to side or simply has wider margins. I prefer getting my 2 inches of reading area back. They’re both LCD’s but I like having the extra reading area.

I guess I'm not a widescreen fan. LOL

When I first saw the monitor I asked him if I HAD to use it. He said "What's wrong with it?" and I put a finger in each corner of my mouth and pulled. LOL

Mine is 23 by 13. It took me a while to adjust to it, but I love it now. Previously I had a 13 by 10 & 3/4 screen. It’s still here, right behind me. Just in case. :)

" If Latinos sit out the election instead of saying, ‘We’re gonna punish our enemies and we’re gonna reward our friends who stand with us on issues that are important to us, if they don’t see that kind of upsurge in voting in this election, then I think it’s gonna be harder and that’s why I think it’s so important that people focus on voting on November 2."

Thanks Joe but the problem is going from a square to a rectangle. Hubby just said that not everything can reformat to a widescreen. And that’s my issue.

Neither does Hubby. And he just said that he understands what I’m saying. He asked if the widescreen is brighter because it’s “backlit”. Well it is but that doesn’t help “area”. LOL
