By the same token, China and the Soviets have no qualms about meddling in the affairs of other nations. And we do need to counter their actions, since their ambitions are most certainly expansionist.

But I agree with you to a point. We need to pick our battles wisely. We don’t always do that. And with Obama, we’re acting in ways that are against the interests of the US and her allies.

Do the over seas countries have military bases here in the USA? No and why not? Because we would see it for what it was and that is a infringement on our sovereignty.

All of this meddling has happened since ww2 and the creation of the CIA. I can see why JFK wanted to splinter it into 1000 pieces and how Truman regrets ever oking the CIA for what it had become over 50 years ago.
