Completely untrue. Mr. Cain was thoughtful, as usual, and there were one tiny pause so he could form his sentence best for people to understand his point. Nonstop chattering, like a broken record, has never been his style. He was not in the least uncomfortable with his answers, sleep or no sleep.

But the odd thing is that his campaign is saying this....

Common sense apparently is in short supply here. Next we’ll be seeing how he needs to drop out of the race to make room for Newt!

Oh, wait, we’re already seeing this.

Hey Fib Newtons, Cain’s staying in, whether you like it or not. Deal with it.

Completely untrue??? Well, I guess it depends on your definition of a tiny pause. The question ends at 8 seconds, and Cain starts stumbling through an answer at 20 seconds.

Let people judge for themselves if it was a tiny pause, and he wasn't uncomfortable, and if he formed a clear answer after the long pause.

He didn't know that federal employees don't have collective bargaining, even though this issue has been at the top of the news for the last few months. That's not "thoughtful," but ignorant. We should expect that our nominee know such basic facts.

He was not in the least uncomfortable with his answers,

Then he is out of touch with reality.

He's done. He isn't POTUS material. Period.

Did you watch the same video as the rest of us? He paused for a good 10 seconds, and then when he started to answer, he said something like "I don't agree with Obama for the following reasons . . . no, wait, that's a different line," which makes it sound like he was trying to think of the right talking points/canned answer to respond to the question. He then spent another 20 or so seconds hemming and hawing before finally starting to answer. He didn't look 'thoughtful,' he looked lost.
