I don’t think I’ve ever seen a national media so actively engaged in tearing down/choosing Republican candidates in a Presidential race. Or is this just the first time I’ve noticed it?

This is worse than 2008. It’s because they know their boy Obama is trouble, and they can’t have anyone remotely conservative in the race. Therefore, it must be Romney.

They were successful with McCain so they are using the same strategies again. And we just keep thinking that the MSM is going to eventually engage in the discussion for what is good for America versus what is good or bad for Democrats.
