Newt was one consultant so you can hardly blame him for what happened. He was a private businessman engaging in a perfectly legal practice. I don't particularly like it but if the shoe was on the other foot and some one offered to pay me 2 million to promote them I would jump on it. Any other consulting firm would too. If this sort of think upsets you wait till you here what lawyers do!!!
