Wow. Someone said a while back that Iowa voters wouldn’t go for a thrice married candidate...hm..

I am, still, undecided. We vote January 31.

ALL public polls are for profit marketing tools to manipulate. They have no laws to ensure they are not manipulated, no real penalty for lying. Think for yourselves. IGNORE all of them!

I’m so sick of this cr*p! I’m tired of the media meddling!! Stick with your candidate. If it’s Cain, help him out. If it’s Newt, help help him out. If it’s Palin, well, see you in 4 more years?

Cain will take Iowa. If he doesn’t and Gingirch does, well, that is not too bad.

As long as Romney doesn’t win.

The only thing the Newt surge will do is knock all the conservatives out of the race.

Has the feeling of an outlier to me. Let’s see if we see this kind of change in a couple of other polls.

The Cain/Gingrich/Perry and most of the Paul votes are interchangeable within that group of candidates.

The Christian voting block, en masse, will never support Romney, only cult members and liberal RINOs.

The results of this poll shows Cain and Perry supporters switching to Gingrich for the most part.

Romney with the nomination means an awful lot of Christians sitting this election out and Obama being re-elected.

Gingrich would made a good Vice President. He has too much baggage to lead the country. America needs a fresh face like HERMAN CAIN.

And how did your relentless pimping McCain around here in 2008 work out for us PF?

How many times are you and the GOPbots going to make the same mistake before you finally wise up?

Polls Polls Polls, another one with different results? A few posts down I read this “according to a new poll released Thursday. The Iowa State University/Gazette/KCRG poll found that the former Godfather’s Pizza CEO leads the GOP field in Iowa with the support of 24.5 percent of Republican voters.”.

You can go nuts with these polls. They’re all worthless as far as I am concerned.

I take two meanings from this poll: First, it is a Rasmussen poll which means that it's very likely to be accurate. I know he polled 700 likely caucus goers. Rasmussen's methodology is good and he is usually right on.

Second, this poll confirms the momentum which has been up for Gingrich and down for his two competitors, Romney and Cain. Although we are far away from the January caucus event, Romney and McCain will have a difficult time stopping their fall, reversing the direction and overtaking Gingrich. Absent an intervening event such as a scandal or a monumental gaffe by Gingrich, the trajectory of the arrows show Gingrich pulling away from the other two and we would expect that to continue.

Rasmussen poll shows Gingrich with double-digit lead in Iowa

Imagine that - a GOP candidate who openly favors ethanol subsidies has a big lead in Iowa. Shocking.

Gingrich or Romney? Are these two ethanol-panderers really the best the GOP is able to offer America as we slide into the financial abyss? The Tea Party movement has done great work, but the 2012 GOP field shows how much is yet to be done - whether in the current GOP or in a new third party, we need fiscal conservatives with the requisite communication skills and charisma positioned for presidential runs.
