Pelosi Statement on CA Supreme Court’s Prop 8 Ruling November 17, 2011

Washington, D.C. – Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi released the following statement today after the California Supreme Court ruled that the proponents of Proposition 8 are entitled to defend it in court when the state refuses to do so. The case now returns to the U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals:

“With today’s disappointing decision by the California Supreme Court, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals will now likely proceed to the merits of the case against Proposition 8. The district court’s landmark decision in this case represented a strong statement for marriage equality: finding that Proposition 8 violated Californians’ rights to due process and equal protection under the United States Constitution.

“We are confident that the district court’s decision will be upheld, that Proposition 8 will take its rightful place in the dustbin of history, and that all of California’s families will enjoy fair and equal treatment under the law.

“In California and across the country, we will continue our fight for the fundamental rights of LGBT couples and every American: winning the battle against Proposition 8 in the courts; continuing the march for marriage equality in state legislatures; and working to repeal and overturn the so-called Defense of Marriage Act on the federal level. Together, we will make these discriminatory marriage amendments and laws a distant memory.”

I don’t get this.

Nancy says she is disappointed in this ruling. Nancy is disappointed that now the 9th circuit court will consider the case based on its merits.

Am I crazy or what??? Why would anyone be disappointed that now a court has to consider a case based on its merits, rather than have some procedural ruling dictate the outcome???

Now in Nancy’s case, she feels that based on the merits of the case, the court should overturn Proposition 8. But even so, she is disappointed that the court will have to rule on that issue????

I see nancy is a big fan of everyone having their votes counted . . . and then discarded when they don’t meet with her approval.

In other words the voters don't have enough intelligence to vote in a constitutional amendment, but the intelligentsia (lawyers, politicians, socialist, and anarchist) do.

It is strange how a court will rule a state constitutional amendment as unconstitutional, although the vote made the measure constitutional, prior to their ruling.

The President and one of the major political parties is suing states for trying to enforce federal laws that are being ignored by the Justice Department.

The White House is a cheerleader for the socialist community organizers and anarchist at the occupy gatherings. It is not the union members who have sold out their country, it is the union leadership, that has been taken over during the last twenty years or so that have become the black shirts for anarchy.

We are under the same pressures as the Weimar Republic in Germany experienced during the 1930’s.

The aim is to frustrate good people and cause them to bow to anything that will bring a semblance of peace, even if brings about the destruction of our Republic, and the imposition of a socialist dictatorship

Day 48 Of The FReepathon
Do you Know Why?

There are loyal posters that donate every FReepathon. Some donate several times during every 'thon. But others never donate. Why?

1 My enemies haven't been zotted.
2 The owner doesn't support my candidate.
3 FR won't "upgrade" to "Like" buttons and blinky crap.
4 Someone else will donate.
5 My friend was zotted.
6 I lost my job and have no income.

Only one of those is a legitimate reason.

Support It Or Lose It

Nancy, my love, don’t be disappointed! The flame of love burns brightly in my heart for you! I have a proposition for you, dear Nancy, and we don’t need a court to rule on it. Guilty! It’s true! I’m guilty of being mad about you! How I long to sequester your in the jury room of love and say the words I long to say to you......”How come your eyeballs don’t drop into your mouth? You don’t have a brain.”

I am convinced that Pelosi has truly gone insane. I don’t mean that metaphorically, as one might mean it when they say all Democrats are nuts. I mean it literally. She makes absolutely no sense when she talks. She has lost all connection to reality. She is completely irrational. Her statements make no sense. When she stands in front of a microphone she looks like she’s in a drug-induced crazy spell. All politics aside, her family needs to get that woman some professional help.

Well like I said, she IS on drugs, of that I have no doubt. It is my honest opinion she has a severe cocaine addiction. She shows all the symptoms. Twitching, jaw grinding, bug eyes, paranoia, nonsensical speech.

What ticks me off is just about EVERY taxpayer funded job requires random drug testing EXCEPT politicans EVEN THOUGH their decisions affect the lives of millions of people.

For example, a fireman or cop can be fired for being found with the SLIGHTEST but of marijuana in their system. A drug that is akin to coffee in my opinion. But Ted Kennedy can show up bombed out of his skull on alcohol time and time again in Congress? Nancy Pelosi can show up high as a kite on cocaine? And this is acceptable? Hillary Clinton is another one. Is this the face of someone who is clean?

Remember, this is what she use to be like, no different from those OWS druggies.........

Is having a Constitutional Amendment requiring random drug testing for members of Congress THAT horrific? Ask the 1000s of firemen or cops who have been fired, lost their pension because they were found to have 1/one millionth of a grain of THC in their system.

Who does more damage when they are high? A fireman pouring water on a fire or Nancy Pelosi thinking Communism is Utopia and therefore millions of lives should be destroyed to make that happen? Al Gore is another one.

Look up all the liberals who have gone down and visited Castro and Chavez. They don't go down there because they are fans of Socialism. They go down their to get Cocaine. Sean Penn is known as one of the biggest coke heads in Hollywood. Put it this way: Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss went down to meet with Castro and "praise him". Oh yes, surely about politics.

...although the vote made the measure constitutional...

Sometimes voters pass measures that truly violate the constitution [as we know it today, not the real one].
